“The beds arrived very quickly and are absolutely gorgeous - so well made and such beautiful fabric and colour. Sadly both my miniature dachshunds are not very keen on them so far ☹️. I am not sure if the built-in cover is a little tight or If they are finding the pad too firm but so far the beds are looking very stylish in my bedroom but empty, while the dogs are snuggled in their old tatty doughnut beds😆😆😆 I think I need to remove the old beds so they have no choice!”

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to leave your review and I am sorry to read that the Snuggle Beds haven't been a hit so far. We see a lot of size variance amongst Miniature Dachshunds and we find that they generally need the medium size because of their length unless the dogs are very small. And if your dogs have not used Snuggle Beds before, they may need a little encouragement/training to use the Snuggle Beds. If they are food-driven, using treats is a great way to encourage them into the Snuggle Bed. Take a small piece of a treat that they are particularly fond of and place a small piece under the cover right at the front. Once your dog retrieves it, repeat in a similar position and do this a few times. And then start to move the treats further into the bed. Dogs will usually learn quite quickly that they can get into the beds on their own. Hello Jessica, I am very sorry the Snuggle Beds have not been a success with your Italian Greyhounds. We take the quality of all our products very seriously and forwarded your feedback to the mill that knits the faux-fur fleece for us to use in the Snuggle Beds exclusively. After a little investigation at their end, they informed us that an incorrect roll of fur was sent to the sewing team in error. And this roll of fur was subsequently used to make a batch of Snuggle Bed covers. Unfortunately, this particular fur will shed a lot more than the faux-fur fleece used normally, resulting in excess loose fibres within the bed. This helps to explain why washing the covers has not helped. If you are happy for us to do so I will arrange for two replacement covers to be sent to you. “Absolutely stunning dog bed! I purchased the small size for my shit tzu/ maltese terrier and it is big enough for her to stretch out or curl up in the corner against the high sides. Really good quality material and feels very luxurious, the sides are sturdy and stand up but are still soft and padded. I have only ever bought cheaper beds which ended up going out of shape and lumpy so decided to splash out and so glad I did. I would buy again without hesitation and would highly recommend.”
