“They sent wellington boots instead of brogues last month and I’m still waiting for original order one month in.”

We had hoped to make things right in a timely manner but it was not to be. “I asked for these to be delivered specifically on a Monday after the Wednesday I ordered them. That was ignored and my shoes sat on my front doorstep for 3 days, in poor weather.”

We noted that you opted for free delivery and saw your comment for delivery after the 22nd but unfortunately, in this case, Royal Mail was super efficient and delivered to you on the 21st. “Buying a new pair of shoes is a really big deal for me, I find it tough to justify spending money on myself and any purchase always comes with a lot of research and thinking about. I tried on a couple of pairs of shoes on the high street and found a pair of shoes I felt comfortable in. But when it came to getting them in my size I really struggled. I did a bit of searching online and found Charles Hobson had the shoes in my size and at a much reduced price than I'd found them elsewhere. After putting in my order I gave the shop a quick call and found the overall level of service to be excellent and really genuine. My shoes were dispatched the same day and arrived with me in a couple of short days. Really chuffed with the quality of my new shoes, but even more thankful for the great service. It's really nice to find local businesses still offering a personal service, where it feels like your purchase matters. Many thanks :)”

“I very rarely write reviews as it’s not often that it’s warranted, but Charles Hobson, take a bow. Not only was the jacket cheaper than competitors, I received a dispatch email less than 30 minutes after ordering, and had the jacket delivered on a Saturday, less than 24 hours after I ordered. I couldn’t recommend the company enough and won’t hesitate to order again.”
