Tried to order the shoes 3 times on Saturday 11th April as there was a 20% discount, however, it would not accept the code, so I ended up paying full price !! I did email at the time to query this, and so far as of today 23rd April have not had a response. Bit disappointed, but happy with the shoes.

I am usually shopping in your Cheltenham so online is a newish experience. The quality of the products purchased is excellent, as always. I found that using Royal Mail was less than excellent. I know times are difficult but 3 days later than they said was disappointing. I have today, received a purchase delivered by courier within 40 hours from online purchase and cheaper. I still like you for footwear

Wasn't happy that I had to pay delivery and pay for the shoes to be posted back as they didn't fit. Wouldnt buy from here again

Lovely shoes but a bit small so I needed to send them back to get the next size. I was pretty annoyed to hear that I had to pay the return postage in order to get the replacement pair. I have returned the original pair at my expense of £3 but I will be getting the replacement from John Lewis. I think this was a very bad service for a £95 pair of sandals. I have learnt my lesson. Shame because I used to often buy shoes at Clinkards but no more!

The customer service team are BRILLIANT! When DPD were rubbish they sorted the issue and handled my return without any complications. Sadly, the boots I bought for my daughter clearly had a sizing issue - enormous, which was so sad as they were sooooo pretty!

Was really impressed at the speed of delivery, however disappointed at having to pay for return delivery at nearly £5, most other retailers do not charge. That said, I will not be using your services again, and will sadly find an alternative retailer.

We offer a free standard UK delivery with no minimum spend. However, we do ask the customer to pay the returns cost. Returns can be taken into a Charles Clinkard store or returned to our Head Office. We do recommend a tracked service, however it is up to the customer to return whichever method is convenient. We do offer a Collect Plus label through the returns section of our website, which is £4.49 for up to 10kg of returns, which can be suitable for those returning multiple or heavier items. Had to return shoes as one had obviously been tried on many times in a shop. I rung and the matter was dealt with quickly and efficiently, just waiting for the new shoes to arrive. Never had a problem before.

Sorry but these boots are lovely but they are too big. I am a size 4 and all my other Joseph Seibel boots are size 4 but with these I could get my hand down the back of my heel. I couldn’t wear them like that, so will have to return them.

They didn’t, delivery took too long, then they missed out one pair of boots which was promised to be delivered the next day, didn’t arrive had to call back again they delivered the following day, not good service

It didn’t, it took too long to arrive and I paid for express. Only to find I have to pay to return it as too big, I was going to get a smaller pair, but if their still not right it’s going to cost again to send back???? It’s shoes so their heavy. Who charges returns nowadays from a good company ???!!! No one

Hello, Thankyou for your review. Express delivery is dispatched within 3 working days and does not count the weekend. We have checked your order received on the 31st January 2020, the item was dispatched on the Saturday 1st February 2020 with DPD arriving on the Monday. The order was within the timeframes for Express delivery and we are sorry you were disappointed with this. We offer next Day service as long as the order is placed before 5pm on a working day. This service is £5.99 and is available on selected products in our warehouse. With regards to returns, we do ask customers to pay towards the cost of sending back their order. Stylish and classy, but don't fit well on my foot, around my foot arch, too loose. Also I have found the same pair, much cheaper through a different supplier, so have returned them.

Product I ordered was a sale item, but I was disappointed that the item I received had damaged packaging. I haven’t returned the item as it was only the box, the items were fine, but had I purchased in store myself I would have queried whether there was further discount as the box was damaged in a couple of places.

There was a lack of seating in children’s area which made it hard for staff to get through,although staff were very helpful and patient. I thought the tv was a good idea but not the balloons as little children can be a bit rough with them

I have given a 3 star rating, so why would you think the visit made me happy? I appreciate that retailing is difficult. In the last 6 months both my wife and I think the quality of the the shoes and the customer service has declined. It is now sadly just another shoe shop.
