Frustrating that the lady ordered the wrong sized foot measurer so I had to go back tot he store to take it back... they were even reluctant to do it till they understood if was their fault the order was wrong...

Actually, I tried on the shoes when I received them . Ordered my size 39 , unfortunately the shoes were too tight , and not enough space on the length for toes. I have returned them to you . Hopefully should arrive early this week . Also spoke to a person I. Customer service. Please refund .

Hello, Thank you for your review. We are naturally disappointed to hear you were not happy with the delivery of your order and the item ordered. Our free standard delivery is up to 5 working days for dispatch, although we do aim to get orders out as soon as possible, we do sometimes have to wait for items to arrive at our Head Office which may take a few days. If you chose to order with us in the future, we do offer faster delivery options such as express delivery which is £2.99 and dispatch is guaranteed within 3 working days. Service helping to fit my babies shoes was great, however I had a promotional code that they wouldn’t accept. Turns out it was for online purchases only. Would have expected them to honour it out of goodwill, especially as retail stores are generally struggling. I don’t know why they would encourage buying online rather than using stores.

I visited my local shop, Summertown [Oxford] and received excellent customer service from Salma. My chosen shoes have been ordered in a smaller size and the shop will ring me when they arrive. Thank you Salma for your help and lovely smile.

Online experience excellent- quick turn round. Unfortunately Boots didn’t fit. ( I have since got a pair that are gorgeous.) I went to CC in Sidmouth - to be greeted (gleefully) Oh we can’t deal with those Boots you bought them on line. It would have been so nice to say ‘ we are really sorry! but oh no - we can’t deal with you!! Customer service - 0 points!!! I only wanted to try on the narrower leg boot so I would know if they were any better fitting. When I said that I would actually buy the narrow boot from CC Sidmouth they miraculously were able to deal with me changing the boots. Confusing??? It’s not about the returns policy but the attitude of CC staff. Not a good experience. I was so excited when I learned of CC opening in Sidmouth ( we are from North Yorkshire) and have always bought from your stores Northallerton, Redcar,Middlesbrough. In fact I have recommended CC to many friends and work colleagues since the opening of Sidmouth but no longer ........ My customer experience was very poor - your merchandise is still wonderful . Maybe you have a staff training issue. Thank you.

Customer service is very good. Sadly I had to return two pairs of shoes due to them being ill fitting. As I live in Guernsey it cost a lot to return these items. Postage was not refunded so I ended up spending nearly £20 on postage alone.

With regards to returns, we offer free standard UK delivery dispatched within 5 working days, however do ask customers to pay towards the cost of the return. You can of course return to a store if one is near to you however there are cost efficient ways of sending back your order. Although we do recommend a tracked service, there are different levels of service and cover you can choose at the Post Office when returning. Thank you for your review. Our free delivery service can take a maximum of 5 working days to be dispatched. With Saturday and Sunday not counting as working days, this then can mean up to one week for delivery, although it is usually much quicker than this. I can see that your order was placed on the 1st October and we dispatched the order on the 2nd October, picked up by Royal Mail on the 3rd. For some reason, it does seem as though Royal Mail have been a little delayed in getting the order to you, I can see that they did try to deliver once and you arranged a second delivery, but we would have expected the order to be with you a little sooner than it was. We do hope that now you have the order, that you are happy with what you have received. If you do place another order in the future, we would be happy to send out DPD if you would prefer. Recently purchased a pair of boots in two different sizes. These were a gift for my sister. I paid £170 each for these boots. So you would expect them to be delivered in a somewhat “quality” state. I was extremely annoyed and disappointed to find both the boxes they were delivered in were old, dusty and almost falling apart! And then when I opened the box, both pairs look as though they had been thrown into the boxes with absolutely no regard to how much a customer pays for good quality and good presentation when you buy from a high end store!! Now I feel embarrassed to gift these to my sister because they look as though they were bought in a sale where the boxes were crushed and gathered dust.

The website was easy to use and the shoes were what I was looking for - a wide fitting, with a strap over the heel. They are comfortable and look smart . But the delivery was not very good. Unfortunately,whoever arranged the delivery, whether Charles Clinkard or DPD, the delivery company, failed to give our full address. The driver could not find the house (just the postcode is not enough) and I received a text telling me that ,as requested, my delivery would be changed. This was not requested, and it took some time to sort the problem out.

Frankly, I'm amazed! I was very disappointed when your Burford shop told me they couldn't get the sandals that I so very much wanted in my size. I had tried on a pair that were slightly too large but they were extremely comfortable and would be ideal for tramping around in cobbles in European cities during my forthcoming holiday. The shop staff told me they had tried every way possible, including head office, to get them but couldn't. So I decided to have a go on line to see if anyone else sold this model. By chance, I rang your head office and, hey presto, the lady I spoke to was very helpful and a pair of sandals in the right size arrived by Royal Mail a few days later. I'm not actually complaining - but you did ask, so I thought I'd tell you!

Slippers were very narrow and small for size. Delivered reasonably quickly . Poorly packed for expensive slippers- looked like they had been sent out and returned several times!

I was served by Jordan at the Cribs Causeway branch. He was very helpful and patient with my 7 year old who tried on numerous school shoes. The problem being that she has very wide feet and a high instep. We finally found a shoe that fit. Unfortunately even though they were branded, they weren't what my daughter would have chosen. We had limited choice and time. We paid £60. Crazy money for a school shoe!

I love buying from the Eldon square shop but the online experience was tricky as I wanted to click and collect it kept showing my personal address as the delivery even though I had selected the store (order took too long to place!)

Inormally take a size 8/42, I ordered a size 9/42 and couldn't get them on. neither could my daughter who only takes a size 7, they were tiny and very narrow and I am not pleased having to pay postage to return shoes that were nowhere near a normal size 9/42.
