Prompt delivery, but I had to ring customer services to amend the delivery address. The 15% discount was not applied.

The school shoes we bought from Cribs Causeway are good and the right fit and replace the same make of Start-rite shoes which are now wearing at the heal after 2 1/2 school terms. However I paid full price for the shoes in the shop approx £43 pounds for the black patent school shoes (12 e (2747-3)) which I later found the next day in the same size and make in the sale for approx £35 online, pounds so there is a discrepancy to the pricing of your shoes.

good range of shoes, but website not v user friendly - click on Sale and difficult to get Ladies shoes back on screen. Also when searching for Pickolinos took ages to get onto that website. Also I like to view ALL shoes of my choice of make but had to keep entering this. Then when came to pay I found the Chat box came up right where I needed to click and select how I was paying if it wasn't with Paypal, so initially couldn't find where to click. All these little things can get tedious and sometimes I have just clicked exit !

I like Charles Clinkard shoes and often purchase them, but I would have been much happier on this occasion if my 15% discount code would have been applicable for a longer period as I wasn't able to order fast enough before its expiry time.

I found the shoes I was looking for but there was a mix up and I received the wrong pair. However it was sorted out reasonably quickly although I had paid extra for quick delivery and due to mix up that didn’t happen.

The registration process was dreadful. This system needs a serious update. I had to input the same information repeatedly. It took ages. It was only the discount code that prevented me from quitting.

At first the person serving me was not at all helpful and, in fact, I felt she was quite rude and off-hand. However, things did brighten-up and she became much more pleasant. As I was buying two pairs of shoes, this was the least I could have expected. I have been a customer of Charles Clinkard for many years and know that I will usually find what I am looking for. On this occasion you did not have one of the shoes I wanted in the right colour, so this was ordered. I was very pleasantly surprised when the shoes arrived the very next day, free of charge! Well done!

Had a very pleasant experience in the Shop in Stratford upon Avon. Extremely helpful assistance and I had to order the above shoes, which I did on 5e Saturday and they were delivered to my home on Monday. Excellent. Really good shoes as well!

Had problems moving on online to pay so ordered by phone , good service on phone , helpful staff. Original email confirming order had wrong colour but was easily able to change . Good communication regarding delivery. About to order another pair of shoes.

I really like the range of styles available at your company. I am however disappointed that I had to pay the cost of returning the shoes for an exchange. I think that it doesn't take into consideration that it is a risk to buy shoes online, because you can't try them on. I am very happy with the service otherwise, but will shop at Rogersons next time as they do pay for the mail, when a customer is making an exchange.

With regards to the returns cost, we offer a free standard UK delivery with no minimum spend. However, we do ask the customer to pay the returns cost. Returns can be taken into a Charles Clinkard store or returned to our Head Office. We do recommend a tracked service, however it is up to the customer to return whichever method is convenient. We do offer a Collect Plus label through the returns section of our website, which is £4.49 for up to 10kg of returns, which can be suitable for those returning multiple or heavier items. We appreciate your feedback regarding our returns policy and will ensure your comments are passed over to the relevant department. Looking at your order we can see a replacement pair has been put to one side for you, if these are no longer required please let us know so we can process a refund upon receipt of your return. I ordered 3 pairs of shoes but one pair are far too narrow, not as expected. I am not sure that your wide fit applies as you advertise and now I am having problems trying to send them back and at a cost of nearly £ 5 is not what I would have expected either. I am not sure, therefore, I will order online in future if I have any doubts about them. Sorry that is how I see the situation.

I cisired your shop at Freeport.. Stoke on Trent. (Cnanfed the name but can't remember what to) awful customer service. Had to ask for help and was told that I couldn't have my grandsons feet measured as the measure for his feet had broken.. months ago!! Why has this not been replaced??

I wasn’t actually happy. I received my Ellis sandals in a partially crushed box, the left sandal was fine with nice internal packaging to keep the shape but the right one was grubby with no packaging inside. Obviously had been well tried on by someone else first. I was disappointed overall as I love receiving new shoes but felt let down. I will keep them as can’t be bothered to return but I think your quality control could be better for expensive items.

Told me my order would be delivered on Saturday - the day of my birthday! But in actual fact didn't deliver until the following Monday! Very disappointed !!

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are naturally disappointed to hear you were not happy with the delivery of your order. Our free standard delivery is up to 5 working days for dispatch, although we do aim to get orders out as soon as possible, we do sometimes have to wait for items to arrive at our Head Office which may take a few days. Our courier does not deliver on a Saturday unfortunately, so the next working day for delivery would have been the Monday. If you chose to order with us in the future, we do offer faster delivery options such as express delivery which is £2.99 and dispatch is guaranteed within 3 working days.
