It didn't. The wide fitting shoes did not fit and you appear to be the only organisation that charges for returns. They were returned to a shop.

actually haven't . i have ordered a pair of shoes, there was some mistake in the order on your side so one of your officer started chasing me over mail to make new payment via paypal. i have done that , i received a thank you e-mail, but it would be better if i didn't have to go trough that, for me, complicated process. i could at lest get a thank you discount voucher, as every new customer gets but i haven't. on other side , i'm happy with delivery and the shoes. Furthermore, review is badly done. there is a question " How would you rate our website?" without opportunity to comment. it gives impression that you actually don't care for the feedback, making people feel like wasting their time on something no one reads . website needs improvement. the option for sorting products doesn't work, no matter if i press sort our high to low or low to high price, it will sort products randomly

Not exactly happy though I was when my order eventually arrived. It took longer than usual and when I tracked my order online at Hermes as directed it came up with a list of progress the last saying put through the letter box!! Considering it was being delivered to the store this wasn’t possible. Concerned my order had gone astray and checking my local branch didn’t have it I had to ring the 0345 number(not happy doing that as it costs) to speak to someone who very kindly said she would look into it and phone me back, which she did and I eventually collected my shoes two days later. Top marks to the lady who looked into the problem for me but less marks for the trace my parcel etc.

Received e mail to say the sandals were in stock. Arrived very well packaged and as described. Unfortunately too narrow for me. I hadn’t realised that there were no free returns and it cost me almost £5 to return them. Due to this I will not buy from Charles Clinkard on line again. I would however visit the shop (there isn’t one locally) as I have in the past and received excellent service.

I ordered some boots from the website and made sure (after speaking to an advisor) that my wife could exchange them at our local store should she not like them or didn’t fit. They didnt fit and the manager at our local store ( Junc. 32) wasn’t very helpful insisting that the refund would have to be repaid onto the original card used. It took ages to sort out and at least two phone calls to their HR dept.

Whilst the shoes were very stylish, with a suede effect they were slightly light weighted. I tend to prefer shoes that are somewhat heavier and durable. Nevertheless though, still quite happy with my purchase.

Purchased pair of school shoes last week. Daughter wore them Monday came home Tuesday and some coming away from shoe so not even two days at school worn. Rather disappointed. Nearest store almost 20 miles away and weather snow so can’t do anything about it at minute.

The shoe size ordered was 10 but these were very small and had to be returned. Generally the service was good though.

The package arrived and looked fine. But once opened the shoebox itself was very damaged. The shoes had minor wear lines on them that appear to show they have been tried on a lot and maybe sent back, hence the box damage. However I like the shoes and the wear lines would have come about anyway after my own use. So I have kept them, also too much bother sending them back, but I am afraid I will not purchase online again from you as these were your own make and I would expect the shoes and box to come in pristeen new condition.

Hello Peter Thankyou for your review. This is disapointing, items are sourced from our warehouse and stores, they may have been tried on however the condition shoud not be affected. The box is predominatly there to protect the shoes during transit and again we are sorry for the condition this arrived in. Order placed easily by phone. Got email to say order despatched but never got a telephone call or email to say the shoes were actually waiting in the store I had requested to be collected. Took about 2 weeks overall - a bit slow and not very efficient communications.
