I bought two pairs of shoes online, one pair the colour didn't match, the other pair the insoles came out after the first wear, may be that was why they were in sake

I would have put 4* except for the fact that they did not reply to an email I sent. Shoes are of a good quality.

Let me first say that the Customer Service people that I dealt with were excellent - very friendly and helpful. The quality of the shoes that I ordered left something to be desired. The first pair(size 6) were slightly too large but one shoe definitely appeared to be slightly larger than the other. The replacement pair (size 5.5) arrived with one shoe having a large scratch in the leather near the heel.I contacted Customer Service and advised them that I did not want to pay for yet another return and they kindly supplied a postage paid label. I was advised that you only had one pair left in stock and asked the young lady to check if these were perfect.A day later she came back to me to advise that these shoes were "ok but not 100% perfect". I decided against buying shoes that were again not perfect and obtained a refund. This experience did make me wonder if some of these SALE items are in fact substandard.

Very quick service although disappointed with refunds I got deducted and paid the return postage so lost out financially. On this I would not use again!

My purchase came with a free gift, which I am still waiting for. I have telephoned on 2 occasions and advised the gift will be sent in the post. I am hoping it will arrive before my daughters birthday.

Delivered as promised, but didn’t fit. Disappointed to find that returns are not free. Wouldn’t order on line again for this reason.

My shopping experience was ok. I entered my card details and then a box appeared stating my card hadn’t been accepted. I didn’t re-enter my details as I wasn’t sure whether it was a scam. After ringing your Contact Centre it was confirmed my card had been accepted.

I explained the service failures to the Covid-19 situation. When placing my order I did not receive an acknowledgement including proposed date of delivery which I had to request. I did not feel the service was as good as in the past.

Unfortunately, the shoes I received were not exactly the one I had ordered. although I decided to keep them, they are not as comfortable and are laced up shoes, which was not what I had asked for.

Not happy I’m surprised you stock shoes that are clearly unfit for the wearer. The startrite canvas shoes I bought from you were so stiff and rigid they left redness and blisters on my baby grandsons ankles! Very disappointed.

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes, one pair were packaged in a very nice way, the second pair clearly had been returned from another customer and were just chucked into the box, this is the second time this has happened.

We buy most of our daughters shoes from clinkards. We resorted to ordering online as she was desperate for new shoes. We waited almost three weeks For delivery. I didn’t make contact due to the delay in deliveries. In the end I rang and was told that she couldn’t understand why the delivery hadn’t been sent. I also wasn’t told ( the lady seemed to indicate that I should have been notified) thst one of the pairs

Shoes seemed fine but not to my liking. When shops open I shall be returning as there is no free return postage, which is a shame.

I won't be buying from Charles Clinkard again online. Most companies offer free returns. With Charles Clinkard it's not just the cost of posting but also insurance to make sure the goods get there

The service received from Customer Services after I was delivered odd shoes ! That allowed me to rate it Acceptable though as a customer of many years,40+,I was somewhat disappointed that having purchased a gift card in November it was not acceptable for payment of an item that was discounted online?would be interested to hear the logic behind that!
