Sam was very helpful to guide me through the process and to make a few tweaks to get the job ad presentation as good as possible. Fingers crossed now for some good candidates!

Only got one application from an overall reponse of over 30 applicants so I don't think it is the right recruitment site for me especially as the most expensive I used.

I understand your Account Manager, Chris Sparkes has now been in contact to explain the current job climate and that you advised him you had received a shortage of candidate applications across all job boards and not just CharityJob. I believe Chris has advised you on some ad changes to optimise its performance and has extended the ad for you. Chris will also be giving you a follow-up call next week to discuss the ad performance at this stage. The staff are very helpful and very responsive, the process to list is relatively easy. The only reason for not getting a higher star rating is that we haven't managed to recruit and so far (early days of relisting) and we are not getting many click throughs, although on the first round of recruitment we got just as many candidates and interviewable candidates from charityjob as indeed. Numbers were relatively low for both.

Although advertising the vacancy was one of the most expensive advertising avenues, we didn't receive any applications for the post through this channel. We advertised on sites that were half the price of this and received numerous quality applications.

Our advertisement timeframe is 5 weeks. Charity Job could only advertise it for 4 weeks.

In what's currently a highly competitive job market, we found advertising with CharityJob to be a far more cost-effective and successful means of advertising a fundraising vacancy than advertising via a national newspaper. I was also pleased with the proactive support offered when we were first trying to post our vacancy.
