“On the web site I couldn't pay with my VISA card, it kept telling me the card type does not match de card number. I have a French VISA card. I had to ask my English sister to pay with her English Mastercard and it finally worked. After that, I was gald the watch was delivered fast and I am very pleased with it.”

“I wanted to buy a ring for my daughter, the shop had a very limited range of sizes which was very disappointing however the member of staff, Jan, at the McArthur Glen shop at Bridgend was very helpful and gave us the online order details and product code. I placed an on-line order and paid extra for 24 hr delivery. The ring wise was showing in stock and the order was placed around 10.30am, so after reading the delivery blurb I expected an email to confirm 24hr delivery. I recieved emails confirming order and was told I would recieve an email when item had been dispatched. I didn't receive any further notification. I emailed at 18.44 that evening asking if there was an update/problem. I recieved an email the next morning 'resending' the delivery email. The item was delivered later that day. Overall, I was eventually satisfied with the on-line service but would have preferred the dispatch email be sent initially rather than me have to contact again and it be 'resent'.”

“Hope this review will not get deleted by Chapelle Jewellery. First of all, watches are exorbitantly priced on Chapelle Jewellery’s website compared to other competitors. When I raised it with them with an evidence in the form of screenshot, they reduced only part of the price and failed to match the price with the other authorised dealer (item was not readily available on the other dealer’s website at that time). I had to waste significant amount of time to get the price match issue sorted, which was never resolved or sorted despite talking to a Managing Director level person which was a huge disappointment and actually caused solid frustration. Staff member failed to put a date on the watch’s booklet (since it was a gift), despite clearly me clarifying with them on couple of occasions that resulted into further waste of time and received the booklet without the purchase date finally. Extremely insensitive, arrogant, irresponsible, unhelpful, inefficient and incompetent staff at Chapelle Customer Services Helpline. Their approach is illogically stubborn, argumentative and very negative. Absolutely ridiculous!!!!!”

Good afternoon, I am so sorry to hear of your recent experience. As mentioned with the managing director we are unable to offer any further discount on this item as we wasn't able to price match this item however a discount was received and accepted by yourself. We offered to have the item refunded back to you if you was unhappy with the price however this was accepted and the order received. It is not required that we stamp our warranty booklets as we have an agreement that the invoice acts as a stamp and would be sufficient details for the manufacturer to prompt work under warranty if needed. “I decided upon a watch as a gift for a dear friend and found it available at chapelle online, I phoned my local store who didnt stock it but offered to get it transferred in, this offer I accepted as it meant I could view the watch before purchase. It duly arrived the following week and I made the 40 mile round trip to collect it, but it was not in its presentation box!! The assistant rang the sending store who said it was missed (why you would send a watch without the presentation box I dont know) and would be sent on the following week's delivery....so I waited another week...still no box! I finally gave up and ordered online...so much easier!! But even that wasn't to plan, the web clearly states a dispatch email would be sent (so i knew when to expect delivery) this didnt happen and i ended up collecting from the sorting office. This was my first and sad to say my last experience of shopping with Chapelle,... I just don't need the hassle!!”
