Shame really had a great experience the first 3 times but this time skirting boards was damaged It was only by chance someone was off I’ll from work we was able to actually get the delivery due to nobody contacting us telling us a date or time

I chose to buy my skirting through Cutting Edge as I’d read lots of excellent reviews. I paid extra for express delivery, but it arrived 4 days after it was meant to and it was only dispatched after we contacted them to find out where it was. This resulted in me having to postpone the work and so we’re now still waiting to have this done weeks later. I contacted them about the late delivery and was told over the phone that I’d be refunded the delivery fee for the inconvenience, however, this never honoured despite me chasing them up. Really disappointed with the customer service and won’t be ordering through CES again.

Architrave turned up in good time and good condition. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong size its too wide (my mistake) and I am unable to return it as I was informed that it is made to measure. I am now going to have to look around for something more suitable.

Skirting damaged on edges , 2x lengths snapped in half . Very rough finish needed fully sanding down to give another prime coat

I feel its the courier company they use, the delivery driver would only leave 11 4.2m lengths of skirting on my 77 year old mums drive and wouldn’t even put round the back which wouldn’t have been much more of an effort. You need to change the couriers you use to a more friendly and helpful service.

Great price, great product, unfortunately let down by poor communication. Was told at ordering stage that I would receive notification when delivery would take place. I didn’t receive anything, even after emailing them for an update. Pretty port for an internet based company

Product is good, the skirts are well made and well finished. Service though, no email to say order dispatched, no confirmation of when delivery will be made. Given that 4.2m lengths of skirting boards can’t be left in a convenient place notice of when a delivery will be received is essential.

Skirting and architrave were good value until I had to pay £90 delivery to get it before Christmas, even though I was willing to wait the 5 working days for delivery that were still available. Also, I phoned immediately after I placed the order to ask for two lengths to be rebated (my fault I know) and was assured that this would happen, upon delivery it had not, most annoying. I appreciate that they were busy, but I feel as though they do not have that 'customer touch' necessary when someone (non-trade) is spending £600

Helpful and polite on the phone. But I'm writing this 14 days after ordering/paying and still waiting for the delivery, so I couldn't tell you what their product is like.

Great service ahead of time and very prompt delivery (I did pay extra for this). Unfortunately all 60m of skirtings and architrave where I paid extra to be pre primed, were heavily mottled due to an error in the manufacturing process resulting in 7 hours of sanding to bring them up to a decent standard. The priming cost was refunded however the additional stress and workload to fix this unnecessary mistake would mean I go elsewhere in future.

Order arrived within the specified timeframe, however some skirtings were damaged during delivery due to the ends of the skirtings not being protected with anything... wouldn’t take much to just add some card on the ends to prevent this (did notice others had experienced this also reading after reading the reviews before ordering)

Ordered 2nd of April. Today is the 15th and it still hasn’t arrived… no communication explains the delay. I did call up and was told it would be delivered yesterday

My order booked with expected delivery of 4 to 6 days. I was hoping for 4 but delivery wasn;t until day 8. The skirting and architrave was well packaged but still had damaged edges when I unpacked it

Quality and delivery was good, however we paid additional to have our order primed, expecting it to be ready to paint, which it was not. I have had to sand the items to acheive a decent smooth surface. This I feel should have been indicated on the item descriptions.
