Mdf must stand for medium density fluffyboard. Not impressed with this skirting board, it falls apart when cut and has no substance. As i said, it seems to be made of fluff, not wood fibre.

Hi Neil, Your order was processed back in July, I cant see any contact from you post delivery to resolve any concerns prior to this review 3 months later. Id like to see a picture of the board you received that 'falls apart' as it wouldn't come from our factory! We only use MR MDF in all of our MDF Moldings. Regards, James Masters Cutting Edge Skirting

Didn't hear nothing for 3 days then after I sent an email asking what's going on they said they didn't have the long lengths I wanted and they said they will send me 8ft lengths. I said no I want a refund, they said OK, then 5 days later I received a refund. A waste of time for me.

Rubbish customer services phones down refused to contact me from a mobile sends bulk email bcc everyone instead of each customer getting own email with tracking info.

Skirting board is very poor quality. Maybe it was machined when damp? Very poor surface finish. Primer coat very poor quality, again due to the poor quality of the surface finish. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this product. I've primed twice and rubbed down between coats to improve the finish, I'm still not there yet. It will take a lot of remedial action, time and effort to get a usable board

I’ve been impressed with the customer service and speedy delivery however I’m very disappointed with the finish on the ‘primed’ product: there’s no evidence of any sanding of the painted surface which means I’ll have to spend time doing this myself - to provide context, the surface is as rough as P60 sand paper! This is very different from other primed MDF products I’ve bought from builders’ merchants. As a repeat customer who has previously bought the unprimed product, I chose the primed product for this large order to save time. This has been a complete false economy because I’ll spend my time completing the process myself. I use MDF extensively in my carpentry projects, yet I’ve always been able to minimise the surface roughness by applying a thinner priming coat and by using sharp cutting tools. I expect more care and attention.

Useless is how I'd best describe it. Skirting is nice but that's if it gets to you in one piece (which it won't). I had several damaged, replaced 1 and this turned up already cut in half and also damaged. Customer Services seem like they're doing you a favour by refunding you for damaged boards (still waiting for the credit) but fail to see that I now have to make a 4.2m length out of 5 undamaged off cuts at my own time and expense (anyone with experience of fitting skirting will know what a pain in the this is). I will stick to my usual supplier from now on.

Very very bad, never buy anything from this company. I paid extra for fast 1-2 delivery. Nothing turned up on 3rd day. Upon chasing, one person said was picked up by delivery people day before, 2nd person said was picked up today and 3rd time when I called was told that pick up from courier is to be arranged. My builder was waiting on this to complete the job so was delayed because of this. I had to cancel my order and got refund so given one star for that. But never again. Not reliable re delivery at all and never got to see skirting as I cancelled the order ao can't comment re product quality.

Paid for express delivery which was double the price of standard delivery and wasn’t delivered express and was delivered towards end of the standard delivery timescale. They didn’t inform me of delivery and when I chased up was send proof of delivery which were clearly not at my property to find they were left outside on the neighbours drive in the pouring rain so not the best experience and when I contacted you I just had response with picture of proof of delivery no apologies for it being late or left in the rain and every email since has been ignored.

Can't comment on the skirting as we haven't received it. 3 days of promises of delivery, and still nothing. Useless courier company that you employ. Waste of time.

When I placed my order, I was informed that it would be dispatched week starting the 10th, it is now the 26th and still no delivery. Very poor.

shambles the ordering process was straight forward However when it comes to receiving the goods that is a different matter promised delivery on the thursday by your appointed courier waited at my office until 6pm NO SHOW then contacted CE SKIRTING was told it would be delivered on friday NO SHOW got onto CE SKIRTING following monday promised it would be delivered then guess what NO SHOW cancelled order requested refund and guess what NO SHOW ON REFUND EITHER (as of 16/10/23) very frustrating company to deal with and if i have any advice for the stop using that courier ABSOLUTE DISGRACE not bothered about customer or customer work schedule

Order No #103535 Disappointing service, poor communications (never called back when promised), and no ownership of the issue. It took 19 days, for the fast delivery service, to deliver nothing to me. Unable to pass comment on the quality of the product as it never arrived. I would have preferred the product instead of the refund.

Terrible - will never use again and would advise anybody else to do so. Paid extra for quicker delivery, after nearly 2 weeks and multiple chasing up to find where my order was it was eventually cancelled and I had to procure from elsewhere. Shocking service.

We received our skirting boards broken in two places and we call and asked for replacement but they simply said we should reported within 24h the damage. Basically we opened the package after a week when our carpenter was booked. Very unprofessional and would never buy again from this seller.

I cannot recommend this Company at all. They took my order on 12th May (postcode to mainland Scotland accepted at time of ordering). I had an order receipt straight away & payment taken & a notification that my delivery may be up to a week due to being in the Higlands so I arranged carpet fitters to suit. 2 weeks later I chased up my delivery and was told that even they had accepted my order and taken payment they had cancelled my order as delivery did not suit their courier. At NO point was I informed and it has taken me 3 weeks & numerous emails to get my money back. Went to Wickes instead & had my skirting boards delivered by local courier within 3 days. Went for the cheaper option and customer service / supply was absolutely dreadful - avoid.
