“Prompt delivery of water butt. Product looks as described i.e. Looks like a wooden barrel so not an eyesore at the front of house. Feed in pipe hole not predrilled but drill bit supplied. Copper tap fits well and looks quality. Quite a volume of water cannot be accessed as tap is positioned to get a watering can underneath and you need a volume of water above the tap to give sufficient pressure otherwise it trickles out so slowly. So stated capacity is not all useable but there is a drainage hole at the bottom.”

“The paint samples are great and I look forward to making up my mind about which colour I want to paint the room. Initially I thought that the delivery service was extremely slow and our order was forgotten. But it turns out that the carrier you use left the parcel with a neighbour and did not leave us a note to say so, so we had no idea it had been delivered.”

“A well laid out and informative website which enabled us to easily select the right product. A very good choice of colours in paint for lime plaster although we opted for white in the end. Price was comparable or better than other companies. Our order arrived quickly.”

“Silicate Masonry Paint:- Paint has proved easy to apply (by roller generally) and pleasant to use - no nasty odours and easy to clean tools. Coverage has been more or less as claimed. My house has smooth finished render which is quite discoloured and stained in patches (even after wire-brushing). However the paint has covered all stains very well (in two coats plus stabilizer, applied as directed). Very pleased with the bright white finish. Would give 5 stars but it needs to stand the test of time first. Delivery was quick and well packaged.”

“Very quick delivery, which was automatically re-dispatched after I missed the first delivery. It was well packaged, however rather a lot of expanded polystyrene chips were used. Not very sustainable!”

“Bought several tins of Earthborn clay paint and eggshell. Great price, the cheapest I could find and quick delivery, but as other reviews have also said, every tin arrived really badly dented. Luckily the tins were intact so no messy paint everywhere but come on Celtic, either sort out your warehousing/delivery issues, or if you are selling the tins cheaply because they are dented then please be honest with us and tell us what we are buying! Great paint though - would recommend Earthborn for lime and conventional plaster.”

Hi Helen, Thank you so much for getting in touch. We are very sorry that your tins of paint arrived badly dented. I can assure you that the tins of paint left our shop without dents (as dented tins are always sold in our physical shop at a reduced price). We take this very seriously and I've escalated this case with our operations team manager who will work with the packing staff to investigate the cause. We will do our very best to prevent a similar error from happening again. We’d like to assure you that this is not the service Celtic Sustainables is committed to achieving, and we very much hope we get another chance to deliver paint tins the way it should be. “Initially disappointed - I enquired about delivery to Greece and received a very curt negative by email. But then arranged delivery in the UK, and found a lot of attention was given to making sure the product reached a complicated address. Thank you.”
