“Very upset to find that the white paint I bought is not actually white, but a light brown colour.”

Hi there, We see that you ordered a pot of "White Clay" Claypaint. Though it's not a brilliant white, it's certainly a shade of white rather than brown, as you have described. We would love to know if there is an issue here, whether it be a picking error or a problem with the tin supplied by the manufacturer, as this is the first time we have been made aware of your issue. “They sell some good products, an excellent range of paint for example. Delivery was prompt. They soon answered my email enquiry, when my order arrived damaged. What I can't fathom is why the carriers of the two orders I have placed with Celtic Sustainables, both contrived to dent the paint tins, without damaging the cartons that enclosed them.”

“So the product l bought was some beautiful natural paint pigments which did just what l wanted. The reason l didn’t give 5stars was because firstly you need an awful lot of the pigment for a deep colour and secondly l only found out after mixing the pigment into the paint that it must be used up quickly or it makes the paint go off ! Apart from that - wonderful!”

“Update on my Thermafleece under floor insulation to my Ice Box Sitting Room My Son laid thermafleece back in September, and although we haven’t had the coldest of Winters, what a massive difference, my dog actually leaves the room now because he gets too hot, unheard of Can’t thank you enough Celtic Sustainables Bev.”

“Celtic Sustainables supplied me with some specialist paint that I’d had trouble getting hold of. One company quoted me a £16.00 delivery fee for a similar product. The paint took three days to arrive in Northern Scotland at reasonable cost. It was perfect for the purpose.I’d use this company again.”

“BEWARE DOES NOT ACCEPT RETURNS Very disappointed that this company will not accept a return on a coloured paint from Earthborn (that was a colour from their range not bespoke). I didnt realise my decorator had already bought paint so now have no need of this and am left >£50 out of pocket.”

Hi Jessica, Apologies for not accepting the return on this occasion. Coloured paints are tinted to order (even ones on the colour card) and are ineligible for return as per the terms on conditions. Standard stock items we do accept returns within 30 days of delivery. However, despite this, we do sometimes accept returns for items on a case-by-case basis for resale at a reduced rate in our shop. In this case, a large tin of dark blue eggshell would be tough to sell at any reasonable price, which is why on this occasion we declined the return as per our terms and conditions. “The Coloured Earth pigments came highly recommended by Claire Benn. It was perhaps a little disappointing to find that the colour range available was limited compared to the colour chart, but that being said you had all the ones I wanted as a starter set. The service was great and the pigments were delivered very quickly.”
