“Organised my 'take and bake' simple cremation yesterday. Couldn't be more happy! Professionally handled over the phone in a friendly manner. Now I can rest assured my family will have less to worry about when I die and I can get on with living. Thanks so much.”

“Mums wishes was to have an unattended funeral, and to have a party celebration to honour her life. Celebration of life were empathetic, professional and very friendly. Mum Passed away just a week after I had spoken to COL team. Within hours of her passing I made a phone call to COL and a lovely gentleman explained thoroughly what would happen next. COL arranged everything from speaking with the hospice care nurses to aiding me with the death certificate and so on. Mum was cremated and her ashes hand delivered home within 2.5 week. COL planted a tree in her memory. A massive thank you to COL from our family, this took the stress away from arranging the funeral, family rows and the ever increasing costs of a wake. Mum got her last wishes.”

“I cannot thank COL enough for the kindness and consideration they showed to me at such a difficult and painful time. The death of my husband was a profound shock but from my initial conversation with Emma who was incredibly kind and empathetic, guiding me through the process, I knew my husband would be in professional and caring hands. The young man who returned my husbands ashes to me was both considerate and thoughtful. COL are a rare company with excellent staff and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending their highly professional service. I could not have made a better choice.”

“They were the kindest company you could wish for in our hour of sadness. They explained everything fully and there were no surprises later in the proceedings. I personally would highly recommend the service and would say their price was considerably less than any of their competitors. Well done”

“I am very happy with Celebration of Life, because I found the whole process smooth and easy to follow. The staff are fantastic dealing with everything, and are very considerate with your emotions, as this is an upsetting time. Staff are understanding, with a listening ear when you need to talk about your loved one. They are prompt in contacting you, so you are aware of what's going on every step of the way. I highly recommend Celebration of Life.”

“My Mum knew she wanted no fuss, so when I called Celebration Of Life to make the arrangements I couldn't have been happier. From what was a difficult time they made the whole process very easy, taking away any stress or worries I may have had at the time. Very helpful and understanding and I would highly recommend.”

“Excellent, stress free service. I first heard about direct cremations a few years ago and thought it was a fantastic idea. The thought of having to arrange, and attend, my husband's funeral, would have been awful. He also wanted a direct cremation as he hated wasting money! I looked up a few companies offering direct cremation and decided on Celebration of Life. They came to pick up Ken after an hour of phoning them even though it was close to midnight. The people who came to collect him were very respectful. I was kept informed every step of the way. I now have Ken's ashes ready to scatter where he wanted them. I'd recommend this service to anyone. My mum has just prepaid Celebration of Life for herself. I'll be having the same too.”

“Such a Caring, compassionate, professional company. They kept me informed every step during a difficult time. Alan's cremation took place at Sherwood Forest Crematorium a phone call to tell me the date and time so family members could be together. A lovely man brought Alan's ashes back to me such a lovely caring touch. I received in the post a letter and card saying a donation to National Trust has been made for a tree to be planted in Alan's memory this made me cry at the amount of care and attention Celebration of Life do in making such a difficult time less stressful. Thank you so much Denise & Gemma xx”

“VERY CARING COMPASSIONATE UNDERSTANDING PROFESSIONAL THOUGHTFULL COMPANY THEY KEPT ME INFORMED OF EVERY STEP DURING SUCH A DIFFICULT TIME. I HONESTLY CAN'T THANK EMMA ENOUGH SHE WAS WILLING TO LISTEN AS I WAFFLED ON AND VERY CARING AND WILLING TO UNDERSTAND AND WAIT AS I BROKE DOWN AND CRIED C. O. L. IS KEEN TO PROVIDE AN EXCELLENT FIRST CLASS SERVICE THROUGHOUT AND MY DARLING SALLY'S FINAL JOURNEY WAS TO THE HEAVEN SENT SHERWOOD FOREST CREMATORIUM. FINALLY WHAT A BEAUTIFUL IDEA THAT AS WE KNOW AND SAY LIFE GOES ON AND A TREE WILL BE PLANTED IN MEMORY OF SALLY. WHAT A LOVELY COMFORTING THOUGHT FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART I THANKYOU ALL FOR EVERYTHING. THANKYOU FROM STUART LANE AND FAMILY.”

“Absolutely faultless service. Such a lovely, caring team who kept me informed every step of the way. From start to finish it was perfect. I really can't praise everyone enough for way they dealt with everything. The ashes delivered back by such a kind lady in a beautiful box. Lovely that trees are planted in our loved ones memories. The whole process is simply perfect. A real celebration of life and love.”
