“Really good quality, range and reponse time. This is the second batch of lights we have ordered and will keep using this site. Good response to order and quick arrival of the lights. We are pleased with the lights and the quality of them, more so than a cheaper light we previously ordered from another site. Just one comment: For the chandelier, it was difficult to get a balance between the length of the 3 support "chains" and the solid centre post, they seemed to be different lengths. In the end we compromised by supporting the shade with the 3 chains and the solid centre support holding only the lights.If you have any recommendations for the future, we would be pleased to hear from you.”
“Originally I received the wrong lights due to two digits in the item number being reversed. I called castle gate lights and they arranged for the incorrect lights to be collected the following day. They also said the new lights would be with me the following day but they did not arrive. In fairness they were being sent directly from the manufacturers and they arrived two days later. In my dealings with the company they did everything they could to sort the issue and I would use them again.”
“Had a couple of things from castle gate in last few months - good service and price. One less star as the second light had slight scratch but not enough to return and I guess that?s the suppliers not them anyway. I would definitely buy from them again”
“I have bought from Castlegate Lights in the past their service and deliveries are excellent. On this occasion I am unsure as to the quality of the product which is made from resin but time will tell.”
“Products arrived on time and were just as ordered. We used them over Xmas and they worked perfectly well. Only comment is that we ordered 2 different lights and annoyingly they used slightly different bulbs. We managed to find to find one type of bulb but struggled with the other. On the website - each type of light should have a link to the relevant spare bulbs.”

“Helpful and polite staff and I would definitely buy from them again. Just a suggestion for the website. It would be helpful if it showed what they have in stock rather than what they can order in as I was looking for lights that I knew had been discontinued and after ordering two, they said they only had one in stock and could not get anymore as the item had been discontinued.”
“Delivery was quick and on time. Along with the light switches and sockets I also ordered a dimmer switch. The electricians fitted all switches/sockets and the dimmer switch, however after a while the new lights started to flicker. Luckily they had a spare dimmer in their van and swapped the components with my dimmer and it worked. Can only assume it was a faulty dimmer switch. Would have been very annoying to have to return it at a cost to myself and then re-order another - at another cost to myself and then get the electrician back out!”
