“Well made and gives an excellent warm white light from the LED bulbs. Easy to fit. Used it in a bedroom where the ceiling is a little low so the shallow depth works well.”

“Ordered a light by DAR. We received a prompt service from Castlegate lights and were impressed choice of lights and the prices. The order arrived on time and well packaged. However when our electrician came to fix the light the ceiling hook plate was missing. Not the fault of Castlegate as the hook would have been packaged by DAR. Castlegate were very apologetic and with thanks to Elaine the hook was quickly sent out to us via courier. Shame about the missing hook but I would certainly use Castlegate again due to the excellent customer service.”

Have recently bought some crystal single wall lights (DAR), which are beautiful, however we had a bit of a challenge getting them to sit at 90? to the wall and not droop. Only snag! “I bought two lamp shades, they came in 3 days which was great, packaging was good, the only down side for me is the colour, they are called linen grey but we?re more of a minkey colour but still go with my decor so that?s ok. The communication from the company was very good.”
“We found a wall light with perfect colours to match the new decor in the living room. Delivery was prompt and though a little lightweight (very thin glass) all was appropriate for the price we paid. Only negative was the fitting instructions. Pictorial only with no advice for the DIYer (and quite small) and having tested the light I then found it very difficult to remove the live wire. Once fixed in position the live connection now feels much less secure. We'll see how it goes but overall we're satisfied.”
