“I purchased a Carshades set for my pre-lci Mini Cooper F55 4 years ago, which was excellent. I recently changed my car to a Mini Cooper F55 lci2, so I decided to install my existing shades to my new car. The rear quarter light and tailgate shades fitted straight away. The rear window shades are exactly the same size and shape, but I was missing just one clip. I emailed Carshades who advised that I would need to order a complete new set of clips, which I did. Unfortunately, the rubber fittings around the rear window are not the same, rendering my recently purchased clipset useless. I did send an email to Carshades asking which clipset I would need to purchase and was sent a link. I used this link to place my order. When checking on the website, there is no differentiation between pre-lci and LCI2 Mini Cooper F55s.”

We are very sorry for your delay in receiving your replacement fitting clip set. We have been closed over Christmas which meant we were very busy when we returned to work and then to add to the delay we send these kits out via Royal Post and we only took the items at the beginning of this week. Once again please accept our sincere apologies.

“Nice looking shades that cover all parts of the rear windows. The instructions are a little obscure so I had to phone up to get some advice. The guy I spoke to was very helpful so I eventually managed to fit the shades fine. The shades block out some of the sun but I have still found myself having to squint when sat in the back with my toddler.,”

We are very sorry that you have had issues with fitting your car shade products, but pleased to hear that you have managed to resolve after advice from our customer service department. We do have some videos on the Car Shade website for future reference. Unfortunately, our shades do not block out all sunshine but we are surprised that what is being allowed through is enough to cause you to squint. As a last resort if you are not satisfied with our products you can return for a refund.

“Very pleased we decided to buy these shades for our Volvo. Shades also provide excellent privacy and are far cheaper than tinted windows. Perfect fit and easy to install! The shades are great quality and no doubt will last for years. Quick delivery too. Very happy customer :) Highly recommend!”

“Used to send to Australia. Now don't for some unknown reason. Made it hard so you also had to pay vat. Last order from here as even though good product too hard to get them”

Really sorry you were not happy with our service & communication on this order. We can deliver Car Shades to Australia, the shipping charge would be around £90. However, we thought you wanted us to ship this item to an address in London and therefore it is classed as a UK sale and is therefore subject to VAT. We are sorry we seem to have made it hard for you that was not our intention

“My fourth set of shades. Always top quality. Although, this time, the clips aren’t quite as a perfect fit. Won’t stop me from rebuying when we get the next car… just for a Skoda Octavia estate may a couple more the rear door clips would help. Great product nevertheless.”

“Purchased a rear set of shades for my daughters Hyundai Tucson to shade new baby when travelling in car. The shades are fantastic quality, easy to fit and come in a storage bag so can be kept safe when not required, much better than window tinting. I have now ordered a rear set for my old Suzuki Grand Vitara for when baby is travelling in my car. The delivery is quick and very well packed, brilliant company. A1++++++”

“Ordering- Excellent and really fast turnround. My only issue was with the choice of delivery company-DHL. Their tracking was iffy and I was unable to redirect the delivery as I would be at work the day my order was delivered. The driver did deliver my item and said I signed for it- even though there was no one there. He then left the parcel (not small) by the side of my postbox on the public lane! Luckily I live in a rural location and the parcel wasn't stolen. Product. Excellent! A really good fit on my MG5 SW ev. I found the instructions and online videos easy to follow and had all the screens fitted in 15 mins. Really impressed with the fit and finish, way better than those cheap suction cup generic screens. If I have one very minor critisism its that the rear tailgate screens seem a little tight (I'm talking a couple of mm!) and the shade is puckered in the lower corners. This may be me, and I may need to try re-seating them. Overall very happy and satisfied with the product, it will be interesting to see how they perform in summer weather.”
