“Nice mats - reasonable fit and quality. What I didn't like was the CarMats logo in green and white stitched into driver's mat. This was not in any of the images and no mention of it in the order or the website.”

Hi Jonathan Thank you for your order & for leaving a review. I'm glad to hear you're happy with the quality & fit of the mats received. We do stitch a discrete CarMats.co.uk tag into the drivers mat at the bottom of the mat so this shouldn't be visible when you're sat in the drivers seat.

“After a lot of deliberation looking at various mat companies I decided on this company for a set of exectutive rubber mats for my Mercedes E350, They arrived on time without any dramas but on inspection before fitting them today I noticed the stitching was far from perfect especialy on the drivers mat and would class these as seconds had they not been made to order. I really can't be bothered to return then so will use them for the winter and then try another company......”

“The mats themselves seem a decent quality however, the fit is another story. The driver's mat, the main one in my opinion, came with cheap, generic fittings that did not fit my car. Lots of emails and photos later, I eventually received replacements with almost the correct fittings in place, albeit too large ones. I had to make a modification to get the mats to fit as they should. Overall I would advise potential purchasers to check before buying that the mats have the correct fittings, I wouldn't want anyone else to have to go through the palaver that I experienced.”

Originally the mats received were an incorrect fit for your vehicle. We discussed what you thought the OEM mats looked like for your vehicle & we sent out a set matching your request. The mats we've supplied have the same fixings as the OEM part number & image you provided to us.

“It’s alright for a normal car mat”

“They look great but a little pricey for the 'good quality' ones. Cream colour was darker than appeared online and I was disappointed in the black background where I paid extra to have my name. The letters were just Roman numerals so it was quite plane looking. Some italic would have been prettier and the black background really cheapens the look. Other than that , is was fine. Seems solid and strong. Time will tell”

“Bought rubber car mats which are of a good quality however the retaining clips for the drivers mat came in the wrong position so did not fit. I adjusted them but broke one of the clips i n the process. I would of expected better for the money. I have used carmats.co.uk before and been very satisfied which is why i bought from them again.”

“I ordered the more expensive, rubber version of the mats from them and even though I aired them in the garden for two full days, they did STINK for 2 weeks. I had to buy 3 additional air fresheners to make me able to sit in the car. Nowhere at any point did the manufacturer warn against this.”

Thank you for leaving a review. Unfortunately based on the details in the review I cannot locate an order on our system so I cannot look into any specific details. Our rubber mats do have a slight natural rubber odour but this will fade over the first week or so.
