“I had a prompt response from Key Solutions and had an engineer out to me within a couple of hours. Sadly my problem was unresolved.”

The two technician who have worked on your case programmed a new key and ran a proper diagnostic which indicated that your car has other issues that can be handled further by a garage. “The new key was too thick to fit into the ignition. I filed some of the surface down and it eventually worked. I suggest you use a thinner key in future. From Brian Holland”

“HI THERE,MANY THANKS FOR COMING OUT TO ME,WHERE OTHERS REFUSED,YOUR TECHNICIAN WAS GREAT,NO COMPLAINTS WITH HIM,I AM JUST A BIT DISSAPOINTED THAT I WAS LEFT WITH A CAR,WHERE THE TAILGATE CANNOT BE LOCKED,THE ALARM DOES NOT WORK,THE CENTRAL LOCKING DOES NOT WORK EVEN WITH THE KEY,I WAS TOLD WHEN I PHONED THE OFFICE,TO ARRANGE THE APPOINTMENT,THAT I WOULD HAVE NO REMOTE CENTRAL LOCKING,BECAUSE THE NEW KEY WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO OPERATE THIS,WHICH I ACCEPTED,BUT I WAS NOT TOLD ABOUT THE REST NOT WORKING,ONCE AGAIN I DO NOT BLAME YOUR GUY HE WORKED REALLY HARD TO SORT IT,BUT NONE THE LESS I KNOW HAVE A CAR,WITH NO ALARM A NON LOCKING TAILGATE,AND NO CENTRAL LOCKING ON THE KEY---STEVE JAMES---------”

Dear Steve , thank you for taking the time to share your review with us . We are extremely sorry to hear about this, and even more sorry to disappoint a customer. Sometimes some older vehicles are more difficult on creating a remote. Nevertheless we managed to create a key that started the car and this has made you mobile. And from your description It could be an electrical issue of some kind with the central locking in general , we can definitely help you with this matter .So, please give us a call .We look forward to hearing from you.

“the engineer called to say he was 5 mins away but didn't call when he was on site, i called him after another 10 min wait to confirm he had arrived. I wasn't at my car because it was dark. There had been a miscommunication as he thought i had the spare entry key for the car. He seemed annoyed at that and just generally wasn't talkative or felt approachable.”

“Administration was good A little late technician worked hard to try to resolve the issue but was only partially able to fix the problem (did offer a small discount)”

We're extremely sorry that you had to face such difficulties, problems in customer service is not something we are known for. However as you have seen our technician has tried hard on your vehicle to create a remote unsuccessfully. Sometimes some older vehicles are more difficult on creating a remote. Nevertheless we managed to create a key that started the car and this has made you mobile. Thank you for your custom

“Initially had problems with key, but these have now been resolved. Victoria in office & the employees who attended each time were courteous & tried to help resolve the situation, which it now has been to my satisfaction.”

“Your mechanic spent 1.5 hours trying to fix the key problem to my Civic, but couldn't and came to the conclusion that it was not a problem with the key, fob or modules. I did ask him if he could put this in writing, so would appreciate that please.”
