Diabolical, treating elderly and Vulnerable folk like this. Ordered Standard size recliner and Standard size Static chair Recliner OK ,Static much narrower, uncomfortable,must have sent a “ Petite”? rather than Standard,?Customer service say not and rejected my claim, 45 emails and many sleepless nights later I have now resorted to using a Which? Legal solicitor

Someone from Careco phoned me a d recommended I buy a skin patch. I paid over the phone. They sent me instead a big tube I never ordered and no skin patch.They took £30..99 from my account. I returned the tube which they arranged and the skin patch sample packs. I have not received a refund for the balance they owe me which is about £25 several weeks later. The only thing I have done wrong was to trust them to put their mistake right. I have spent hours trying to get fairly treated.

Misleading Delivery Advice Trying to buy a riser recliner chair for my Mum on their website. Picked the one I wanted - stated 'Available for delivery on Monday'. On completing the checkout process no such delivery option, contacted Customer Services who were rather vague and said that 'Available for delivery on Monday' meant that they could deliver it from Monday. Also the next day delivery price is misleading - states £24.95 but appears to be actually £39.95 (and I'm in Essex, not NI or Highlands of Scotland). Also, signed up for email notifications but never received their very generous £5 off (a £800 chair) code. Date of experience: 11 November 2022 Further - they had my review taken down from TrustPilot and I am now inundated with postal spam which can only have originated from them sharing my data.

Jacque at Maidstone showroom was absolutely great she was friendly welcoming and very helpful .She is a great asset to the company . I would recommend careco to all my family & friends .My scooter was delivered 2days later . A big big thank you Jacqui

Dreadful service, paid over £2000 for a mobility scooter while waiting for scooter unfortunately dad had a massive decline in health and we are now at end of life care. Several calls to care co re refund to be told refund given ….. god knows who too because it’s certainly not in our account, when asked to check the system is conveniently down!!!

Arrived with in-laws to initially scope extensive mobility equipment i.e recliner chairs, beds, etc. Advisors were not the typical pushy salespeople but happily left us to try out the recliners etc but were on hand to answer all of our questions however silly. Following great advice, my in-laws purchased 2 recliners. Andrew Scales, the manager together with Chloe Richards, Mobility Sales Advisor gave all payment options and aftercare advice. Again no pressure to purchase until 100% sure. Follow-up with jointly agreed on after-sales phone calls to confirm delivery and the purchase was what was exactly wanted. PS aftercare service gave contact numbers of other companies on how to dispose of old sofa. Excellent customer service throughout ....in-laws already have said will be returning to purchase a mobility double bed.

Delivery now 3 weeks outstanding and still no date can be identified by care co.. full cash payment was it seems a mistake but that's old people. Poor service

I bought a walking stick with an integral torch and alarm to give my recently widowed mother the confidence to go out in the dark on her own. It arrived very promptly and I was amazed by the quality. The light is very bright and the alarm will alert neighbours. My mother was so thrilled that she immediately booked onto a theatre outing.

DON’T BUY online! Go to a showroom and try first would be my advice. Only choose the self-build option if you are fit and can do heavy lifting and check out the YouTube video first .... you won't find it on the CareCo website!! Ignore the “blurb” about the box as the engineer told me they bring a box if they’re collecting! Don’t bother looking for information on how to take off the Wheel Lock as it doesn't exist but DO have a piece of string handy (as told to me by the CareNo engineer!) to keep this from dropping down and causing alarm.Don’t bother with the instructions in the user manual … they are completely wrong and utterly misleading. Finally ….. DON’T!! Look elsewhere.

Delivery service for this company is truly appalling I paid £60 for an engineers delivery it just did not happen twice so went on to Panther their carriers who were quite frankly incompetent and incapable of running a delivery company the whole incident involved 30 phone calls and just so much frustration it is not worth it the chair was finally delivered but it was not worth the hassle do not order from this company and it would just cause you stress and frustration dreadful

We bought two Trieste recliner chairs one faulty can't get it sorted I have to pay £60 although the chair is still under guarantee, you call yourself a care company I don't think so I was a carer my husband 80 myself 74 disgusting way to treat the elderly, I will be taking them to court in a weeks time.

Not helpful at all I’ve had 5 people out to look at my scooter which just stopped on a corridor at the hospital and left me stranded. I purchased a part after paying £80 for call out only to be told that wasn’t the problem they now want me to purchase a battery at the cost of £399 and won’t reimburse me my original £99 for the part I didn’t need. Customer service is non existent wouldn’t recommend this company.

Unprofessional and bullying company. A housebound old lady bought a wheelchair on their recommendation. It faulted and broke on the 3rd outing. No one in the company cares and trying to say there isn’t a fault. They then blame the elderly woman for using it wrong. Although they can’t say what she would have done to create the fault. They’ve threatened to charge her £10 a day if she doesn’t take it back. Even though she’s terrified of it as they can’t tell her why it broke or that it won’t happen again. Company that takes advantage of vulnerable people, caring only about profit. Avoid at all cost.

STill waiting for just under £600 to be refunded to me for the first scooter I had to return. This was almost a month now. I did also have a ramp sent out that I was going to return as it was too heavy for me,but the man who came to get the scooter could not get it out with out using the ramp I wanted to return.he also scratch it when he was using it,now I am stuck with ramp I can't use and due to him also not taking it with him to return it after it was sorted with Ipswich show room sorted all of it out for .e I just had to ring up to book date that work best for me. This was the 14/9/22 order date. Then it came 3/10)22 not suitable asked to return.next day.i order a second choice and it came 21/10/22 that is when the ramp got damage what I want to send back it . the second scooter is not suitable due to my problems that.arrived 21/10/22 I rang next day to get it return to only have it collected on 10/11/22 still not refunded for the Missing just under £600 fo from the first one. Now the second one gone back today. And stuck with a ramp due to him using it and damage it I owe the money back to my family members for both these as how we ordered them I have had to pay bit back out my benifit each week and my pip so they can pay their rent and bills. I am now stuck and over drawn in my bank I am disabled as is my daughter who is 21 and need a scooter as does my son who is 29 and me so I hope you can now under stand how important having a scooter is to me. This is why I say check your refunds and make sure you get back what you paid. Don't be afraid speak up if you think it is wrong

Bought titan approx 3week ago not tried it till last Thursday due health issues two small rear wheels are constantly dragging on the ground very poor ground clearance. Eventually got though to local branch they said customer service will ring me that was two days ago.when I purchased it the service was good when you have a problem the service is not very good still had no reply

Purchased a mobility scooter in July this year so it's approx one month old I am experiencing problems with the braking system, the seat and the foam rubber covering on the tiller handles. I am currently unable to get a response via email, phone call, contact us in website. Following my initial problems I thought I might get a better experience this time. Not so and my previous review has disappeared! Shop staff great. Once you can get through on the telephone the staff are very helpful. My inability to get through by any method is very frustrating. Come on Careco, do your job

My parents recently bought a assisted chair from careco battlefield showroom and I was very pleased with the customer service from Emma and Pauline. Very friendly and helpful top notch
