“Quick and easy to use, with friendly / efficient customer support. I sold cards and got the money via Paypal in approximately 2 weeks. My only word of caution is that unless you use Royal Mail Special Delivery - or similar - you are sending the cards at your own risk. Standard postal services - including recorded - offer no compensation in the event of loss or theft of your cards/vouchers. Store cards are in effect cash, so very desirable to thieves.”

It is true that sending gift cards through the postal service carries a risk, but if people follow our advice - strong envelopes, secured cards, return address and send code on the envelope, then the risk is extremely small. “I'd never heard of Cardyard before, used them to sell an Argos gist card I didn't want. The website was very easy to use, the process straight forward and the whole thing was done, money in my Paypal account within less than 2 weeks. Will definitely use them again and recommend to others. Some card sales websites dont accept certain gift cards so check first. I came to Cardyard because they accepted the card I was selling.”

“Sold an iTunes card. Was told they didn't need the physical copy, just to scratch off and enter the code. They confirmed they would accept and that iTunes cards didn't expire. Checked my account a week later. They've declined the card, given no reason, didn't attempt to make contact to advise it was rejected or why. I'm left with a scratched off iTunes voucher and I can't physically sell it as it's been scratched and I can guarantee the code hasn't been used.”

Thanks for explaining your experience Deborah. We have reviewed the system and found in some instances like yours the 'returned' notification was not being sent. This has now been fixed. We require photos of physical cards when codes have been submitted. We have corresponded a few times and are still hoping you can send photos of your cards so we can continue with the sale. That way you can see through the process, receive payment, and become a customer of Cardyard. Kind regards Mike

“I had 2 Xbox Cards that I no longer needed. Found the site online and used the process to sell them. The prepaid envelope from them was a no brainer at just £1. Once they received the card I was kept informed fully and the payment went into PayPal with no issue. I would definitely use them again.”

“Rather slow as I started my gift card exchange just before the Christmas period, but I appreciate that would be a busy period for this site. I would have appreciated some more communication from the website, as to how long things are likely to take, and the instructions of what to do/how it works before I started the process were quite cryptic and unclear. A good price, though, and very efficient when Christmas was done with.”
