“Impossible to navigate the site on your first visit to sell a card. Completely UNCLEAR instructions just when you think you have finally got it done after half an hour and have an email confirming...You wake up the next day and have an email rejecting the card because you ''didn't forward the original email'' Yet A) Nothing on the site telling you how to do that and B) Why should I forward an email with details of a third party to a company I do not know?? THAT is an infringement of THEIR privacy rights as well as mine It is bad enough that I was losing 10% of the value of the card but fore the time WASTED on this site it's just NOT worth the effort. The ''company'' needs to make thing CLEARER on their site”

Dear Tom, I'm sorry to hear you found your experience on Cardyard frustrating, but were able to take the time to write a comprehensive review. We are always grateful for feedback so we can audit our processes and improve our service. We make it very clear when selling to us we need the original e-gift cards. I appreciate this information is embedded in the process - it appears on the final sell screen and in subsequent emails, but you would have preferred it was made much clearer at the start. We are very generous with our payments; you will not find anywhere else that pays 90% face value for a gift card. We require provenance of the gift card, and if you cannot provide that, then we understand our service is not for you. Kind regards

“I bought gift vouchers for Curry's as a Christmas gift. They arrived at my email promptly, and all instructions were clear.I forwarded them to my friend who was delighted. My friend has yet to cash them, so we'll see what happens then. But all well to date.”

“I'd never heard of Cardyard until I came across them online. The website is so quick and easy to use,, just enter your email address and password and that's it. Plus they have a UK geographical phone number, so no waiting pressing buttons in order to get through; the phone is answered quickly by a real and very helpful person. Top marks all round”

“Very happy with the amount of money that was paid for my Amazon voucher. I was also happy to find the site after receiving a voucher that I wouldn’t use and being able to get some money back! Would recommend again and again!”

“Due to Christmas period, my gift card didn’t arrive by the estimated delivery date. However, once I contacted the customer support, Mike was very quick to help me, given me clear instructions to be able to use the amount I’ve purchased without using the actual gift card. Very happy with the service I received.”

“I sold my first gift card within around 5 minutes of putting it up on the website. (Verification was swift too). After that, it took around a week for my payout to Paypal. The money I received for a £30 Itunes Gift Card was £24 in real money - I haven't found a website that does that good of a deal for you since!”

“It is quick and easy to sell your unnecessary cards here. It is really impressive how easy is everything done. Great team and customer service. Also, I just want to point out that the commision is too big and in order to get more customers, you may think about decreasing it. Thank you.”

“This is a great service. I have only two criticisms (think about what that means - when does anyone have only two bad things to say about anything!) 1) Give better prices for vouchers - on both sides: anyone selling here is likely to buy as well so maybe try to avoid taking as much as possible on each side of the transaction. 2) get more people! Maybe up your AdWords spend or something, I don't know. But you need a wider selection of gift cards.”

Thanks for your 5 star review with recommendations Damien. We offer the best rates on the internet for gift cards (on both sides), and are always willing to listen out for better rates elsewhere. We are growing and are many times bigger than this time last year, but as soon as we put cards up for sale, they are snapped up. We continue with our growth plans. “Good service overall. However, the price for some of the cards is disappointingly low. The quarantine period is rather to long. I think a week is good enough. If there is a problem with the card the seller can always be asked to refund the money.”

Thanks for your review and suggestions Uzayr. We have refined our process over the years and we can only offer the service by having a quarantine period of 2 weeks for e-gifts. We offer the highest rates on the internet for gift cards, but are always willing to listen to information on higher rates from somewhere else. Best wishes, Mike
