“I ordered a 5ft potted tree for over £100. It’s shape is lovely and it is the correct height but it is very slim so I suspect it will be 2030 before it has a presence in my lounge!”

“Tree arrived at the time arranged. I visited B&Q later the same day and the exact variety (healthier looking as mine has a bare patch on one side near the base) were on sale for one third of the price. Will buy directly from them next time. Also, I contacted you about advice around repotting but didn't get a response.”

“I have had plants from Carbeth Plants before and have been pleased with the quality. This is the first table top tree I have bought. It arrived quickly and looks in good condition. So far I haven't decorated it, keeping it in a cooler room until nearer Christmas when I hope it will look good in my sitting room.”

“Today I received my 2ft Nordmann Fir Christmas tree and wow I was so impressed with both the quality and the packaging of the tree. Originally I was a bit worried about the tree getting damaged in transit with it being delivered all the way from Scotland to my home here in North East Wales. However, DX arrived here nice and early this morning with the tree being wrapped superbly well in a plastic / netting covering. After removing the covering I found the tree to be super healthy with masses of new buds showing on it’s branches. I’m now looking forward to re-potting the tree and seeing it grow happily for many years. Overall I’m very happy with my first purchase from Carbeth Plants and would not hesitate to buy more from them in the future.”

“Rated 1 out of 5 stars Absolutely disgusting customer service… Absolutely disgusting customer service and I won’t ever use these cowboys again, I have reported them to trading standards. On 6th October I pre ordered a Blue Colorado spruce and paid these cowboys £100. I asked for deliver week 3 which was between 5th and 11th December and yesterday I received an email saying my tree had been despatched. Today I receive a further email saying my tree has not been despatched as they have ran out and would I like an alternative. A few alternatives where offered but I can’t understand how when I preorder a tree 8 weeks ago they can run out, surely me tree would have been put to one side and marked as sold until despatched. I attempted to phone these clowns 61 times today with no answer, but they are quick enough to answer emails. I wish I had read the reviews on these cowboys before ordering, please people don’t use this business they are awful. I have contacted and reported them to trading standards who advised they have broken a contract by accepting a pre order and not delivering the goods. I will calm down before I decide what to do next in regarding pursuing a compliant but I hope these idiots loose all their customers.”

“My Christmas tree arrived as stated. Very happy with it, although not as full as the photo suggests, and looking forward to having it in my garden for many Christmas' to come. I am hoping it will fill out as it grows as only 4ft. Communication was good”

“Not very happy at all. Tree is in a very small pot with the roots growing out so the tree will need to be repotted immediately. This dies not look like s baby stand alone tree but a piece of a bigger tree which has been cut off. There is therefore no usual top branch on which to hang a small star. Going to enquire about returning. Really not good value at the price and expected better presentation. I was not offered the option to have the tree repotted ahead of delivery which I would have taken. Going to explore returning this.”

“Could have been packed better .One plant was a little broken. Smaller than expected .No instructions on soil , feed to use and nothing to say if it could be in a pot . Not a great garden so that information would have been great for me”

“Most disappointed with the 2ft Xmas tree I ordered. The wrapping of the tree wasn't remotely sufficient enough. The earth in the tub wasn't sealed so had all come out of the box and was over my floor. The tree was covered in earth. After 45 mins of cleaning up the tree is lopsided with no branches on the bottom left. Don't waste £27 on this. Happy Christmas.”

“Carbeth Plants were new to me, but I wanted a present for a friend that was unusual and attractive. She absolutely loved her Lemon tree and the service was excellent too. Well in time, no problems at all. Would definitely recommend.”
