“I was very pleased with the rose plant I purchased, it arrived well packaged. My only disappointment was it did not come with a label/card to say what the rose was and where best to plant and position it, which, when I have ordered from other companies in the past they always have this. The plant was bought for a friend who had recently lost their father and it would have been nice if there was a card with a picture on it of the rose along with some information. Thank you Linda Wilson”

“Terrible service. Have taken the money, order confirmation received but no delivery to the destination. Left messages on social media, answer phone and email. No response. The rose bush I ordered was for a friend whose dad has just passed away so it’s important that this is sorted. But for days, no contact or response from them. I’m still waiting for a reply…”

“Beautiful well shaped tree delivered exactly to the day requested. It was well packed in a net and plastic wrapping with extra protection for the long tip. This was a rooted tree. After a long soak in a bucket of water it was planted and looks fantastic in its outdoor pot. Very good customer service. Highly recommended.”

“Bought a lemon tree for my parents. The plant looks lovely- presented nicely. Lemon are green currently- but look forward to seeing them change colour and grow. Was very well received. Thank you”

“Paid for 5 ft . Got a 4ft tree . I also paid for it being plastic free . It arived looked nothing speisal . The tree was covered in plastic plus the pot was plastic . I had to cut the pot off . The toots were all through the pot . UTTER DISGRACE . SCAM.”

“Sent broken tree asked for replacement just gave 20.% off refund despite 3 requests. Did not notify me a 9 ft tree was not going to be delivered until I asked where it was as it did not arrive despite being paid for it in September and due for delivery end of November sent 6 ft instead with partial refund. 2 blue spruce trees came as green Nordmann fir should have been 5 ft was 3 ft 6 4 ft 2 if you count the pot to date no reply despite photos supplied. Dreadful service.”

“I purchased two different plants to be sent as a gift. The recipient found that one of them was substandard and on enquiring was told that it was the last of the type available. No offer of refund was detected. My other quibble is that when I ordered one plant I had the option, which I accepted, of some “treatment”. I then ordered another different variety but couldn’t find the treatment offer. Maybe that one was the weak one!”

“The rhubarb crowns arrived promptly, appropriately packed, looking in good health and quality. They were planted immediately in good ground prior to the colder weather arriving. With all this, I’m hoping for good results into the future.”

“Ordering was easy. However, my item is a gift and it was supposed to come with a ‘hessian wrap’ and it didn’t! I queried it and was offered an apology. Bit disappointing really. I also sought advice on the short term storage of the item and did receive advice quite promptly.”

“I ordered crocus bulbs (100) and they arrived very quickly. Also, the bulbs were good quality and all in good condition. I had bought some bulbs from a local garden centre, prior to placing the order with Carbeth. About 6 of those bulbs were rotten.”
