“2 of the lettuces were wilted on arrival other plans in excellent condition”

“I ordered twice from Carbeth. Once from Amazon and once directly. The two rhubarb crowns from Amazon that I ordered were black/rotten and slimy on arrival. I put that down to bad luck. The second time I ordered direct and this time a 1 litre size Rhubarb plant arrived with yellow leaves and looking very worse for wear. I planted it and I’m trying to nurse it back to Health. All in all, I’m not terribly impressed with the quality of the plants which is a great shame as I like to try and support Scottish firms.”

“Really quick delivery. Plants a a bit disheveled when I opened them but a good drink of water and a day in the sun and they came up wonderfully. Thanks.”

“I brought the ‘ mum in a million ‘ rose plant and my mother in law loved it, the presentation was beautiful and we loved that we could add a personalised message! Mum has it all planted up and it’s growing beautifully! very well worth the money.”

“I ordered a wiggy wig.. Sorry to say it arrived like spry.. Crisp and dry.. The leaves had given up, curled off and left the plant more of a baldie than a wiggie. I am hoping a spell in intensive care will put its curl back.”

“Very pleased with the supply of the compost, but the set of herbs supplied were looking very sorry for themselves when they arrived. I have planted them and have my fingers crossed. Packaging looked satisfactory so maybe the time between despatch and delivery was rather long?”

“Plants may have been good on departure, but DX, their appointed delivery company, took three extra days to deliver, so plants are tired and because bare roots, they’re not in great shape. Suggest getting better delivery company other than DX.”

“All aspects of my purchase went smoothly apart from my plant being dispatched just before a bank holiday weekend, so it took 5 days to arrive and was looking a bit sorry for itself. Fingers crossed the sunshine will perk it up. I have emailed Customer Services regarding this.”

“So practically packaged for safe delivery so the plants arrived healthy and undamaged. Great to have the plants a good size, not the plugs many supply and are vulnerable to our weather here. It also means as soon as it’s possible to pot up or plant in there is some colour in the garden. Shetland has a short summer season and bad weather now makes it shorter so it will be great to see these survive ..especially the cosmos,”

“Very disappointed that I bought a rose which wasn’t exactly the one I wanted just because it was in the ‘next day delivery’ collection as I needed it the next day and it wasn’t even delivered the next day ..was days later. Been trying to ring them and no answer.”

“Bought a camellia as a gift for 50th Wedding. Much appreciated by the recipient. Ordering and delivery were all fine except there seemed no way of specifying a delivery date. As it was it all worked to plan.”

“Ordered a collection of 5 air plant's got 6 but one was just a load of dried out bits in the package so received four different plants The five were excellent. Fast delivery good communication would recommend Carbeth Plants. *****”
