“I did loads of research before I chose this company to order from - they supplied the things I'd decided on at the cheapest prices. They also supply a wide range of products to chose from. On phoning the store to get advice, they had as much time as I needed and actually told me when they thought a product was unnecessary for me, rather than just encouraging another purchase. I've made purchases in person and over the phone and by Post and am VERY happy with all the products and service.”

“Fantastic good old fashioned service. Very knowledgeable about all the products they sell and even helped me fit my new roof bars when I came to collect my kayak. Competitive prices to much great people. What a rare treat these days.”

“I never leave reviews however I felt I really should this time. My wife our youngest daughter and I travelled to canoe & kayak store on Saturday to have a look around, and to gain some knowledge on dry suits and other kayak gear, paddles etc. Richard who I believe is the owner was very very helpful and took the time to talk to me about advantages/disadvantages of a dry suit over separate dry gear. I tried on 4 different suits and thanked him at no time was he pushy or overly trying to push me in a certain direction. After over anhour in the store I thanked him and told him I had a lot to think about and weigh up. I would happily have spent longer just looking around but had a 45 min drive home to pick up our eldest daughter. Once home I made a decision and ordered the suit I felt fitted the best, from Canoe & Kayak of course! It was delivered the next day, can’t wait to try it out and get in the store again. Thank you Richard Gareth”

“I am so pleased with the items I bought from Canoe & Kayak. There was a little mixup with my second order, but the C&K dealt with it superbly, which I think often speaks more of a store than when everything just happens automatically. Friendly and knowledgable help always available. Will definitely shop from this store again.”

“I phoned for advice about buying a pair of sit-on-top kayaks nearly two years ago. I delayed buying immediately (pandemic; retirement; a house move), but now being much more settled I returned to the plan. I stayed with Canoe and Kayak Store because I remembered how careful and thoughtful the advice had been; once again they gave outstanding service, being friendly and helpful in phone and email communication. Their advice for a couple of sexagenarians returning to the water was spot-on, and the kayaks recommended - Islander Koa- are perfect for us. Delivery was amazingly quick, too, and the whole package - kayaks, paddles, buoyancy aids and kayak carriers for the car - came at a very decent price. Overall, a really impressive company delivering a first-class service.”

“Went to the store in person having looked online but decided we needed to try PFD’s on before purchase. Amazing bloke, excellent customer service. Attentive and thorough without ever being obsequious. Incredibly knowledgeable, warm, welcoming and genuinely friendly. Didn’t make us feel like newbie idiots, took time to ensure he really understood what we needed. Didn’t try and upsell us anything, put us under zero pressure. Honestly one of the easiest and most straightforward shopping experiences our lives. Prices extreme competitive, even compared to online only stores.”
