“My wife and I are delighted by the professional way Sophie has helped us plan our trip to Vegas & Canada. Sophie has shown excellent expertise and had the patience of a saint when we changed dates and itinerary. We are confident July 2024 holiday will be a trip of a lifetime!!”

“I have recently booked a cruise holiday with Sophie King. She was so helpful and knowledgeable from the start of the holiday to the end. My daughter and I are very much looking forward to going to Canada and Alaska, knowing that every detail has been taken care of. “My husband and I are very pleased with the prompt service that delivered to us by Anne Macaldowie of Barrhead. We requested a tailored package to Canada and Alaska cruise. Anne was not only knowledgeable and informative but also patient and helpful. We changed the itinerary at least twice and Anne was capable to offer us alternatives to accomodate our particular needs. At no time we felt pressurised in making our decision. As a matter of fact she was so keen to ensure that we have our visas, and appropriate insurances to cover the cruise, flights and hotels. We are very appreciative for all her efforts and efficiency. Anne paid great attention to such details that can be easily missed by customers which potentially could be problematic. This is our second holiday with Barrhead we cannot recommend them enough for their high level of dedication and excellent service.”

“Sophie King built my nephew and myself a wonderful trip of a lifetime. Everything that I asked for was built into our adventure. The price was as I had expected for a wonderful exclusive holiday. Sophie kept us informed every step along the way, tweaked when I requested Perfect. I will certainly be speaking to her again for future holidays”

“We recently returned from a holiday including an Holland America Alaskan cruise and the Rocky Mountaineer. It was a fabulous holiday, planned by Brian Walker. He listened, found our our preferences and organised our schedule ensuring all the amenities were to our taste. Brian was also very reassuring and helpful about any concerns. We also had several 'free' activities included. It was so easy throughout due to the organisation of the transfers and accommodations. We intend to use this company again.”

“We are planning a special 60th Birthday trip to the Canadian Rockies and Vancouver Island in 2024. We had a few ideas but didn't really know where to Start. I found the Canadian Travel Specialists while I was researching Bear Lodges. Having emailed them, we were very quickly contacted by Adla Toal who has been working with us ever since to design the perfect trip for us. She has been amazing. Very knowledgable and patient, and always keeps us informed . Through her advice we now have a perfect, bespoke trip planned which we are so excited about. Although we haven't been on our trip yet, the other reviews on this site give me total confidence that the great service we have received from Adla will translate into a fantastic trip. Thank you!”

“We can’t thank Adla enough for a second time, arranging and booking another holiday to Halifax Nova Scotia. Nothing was a problem, we told her what we were looking for and she organised everything, even the rooms we requested. Barrhead travel and Adla provide a fantastic service giving anyone wanting to travel to Canada a fabulous experience. We can’t wait for our holiday next year.”

“My daughter and I have just enjoyed the most amazing and wonderful adventure travelling both coasts of Canada. We have a long list of places we wished to visit plus a trip on The Rocky Mountaineer, and Brian Walker offered a most amazing schedule of activities in each location together with really appropriately positioned hotels to enjoy the very best of each place. He had to work within a timescale and budget limited by ourselves and he truly delivered in every aspect. All entrance tickets, tours, (of which there were many) and most transfers were all included. We consider ourselves really lucky to have found someone who listened, delivered and was able to offer so much in the way of excellent advice on what is best to see. I would highly recommend using Barrhead Travel in conjunction with Canada specialists to anyone wishing to visit Canada. The quote was very competitive and definitely ticked all our boxes. Thank you Brian Walker”

“Sophie was absolutely fantastic at helping me put together my dream holiday in Canada, she came back with different options for me to go through and then helped me make any adjustments I wanted to give me the perfect itinerary. Nothing was too much trouble and everything on my wish list was included. She was always very quick in coming back and keeping me updated. I contacted some other more well known companies and the options they gave me were nowhere near as good, and the service wasn't a patch on the one I received with Sophie. Would highly recommend!”

“I was very happy with the travel specialist , very knowledgeable. Sophie arranged our trip with everything we asked for , Sophie answered all the questions we required and help us book a amazing holiday . I sent a few requests to dif travel agents , Others did not reply for days. Sophie answered very quickly and spent time ,sorting out dates and rooms and when we required a few changes never found anything to much trouble to change. she said it is our holiday and wants it to be perfect for us , very happy person making me feel like nothing was to much trouble . I am very pleased with the itinary and cost and so excited .”

“Sophie was friendly warm and very professional. She has great knowledge of the area in Canada that we wished to visit and gave us some great ideas and advice.
