“Our holiday was brilliant and really surpassed expecations. Our thanks to Barrhead Travel and especially Nikki Lawson for getting it just right for us. Everything went smoothly from the very beginning, the chauffeur drive from door to door was really appreciated. A trip of a lifetime with highlights of the Rocky Mountaineer and the 1000 mile cruise through the Inside Passage and Glacier Bay, Alaska. Thank you. We will recommend you highly.”

“I was pleased when I contacted Barrhead when I was thinking of travelling to Canada. To my surprise Ann Marie was just not there to sell me a holiday, but to give me some good advise.I think my experience was enhanced by taking on board the advise.”

“Perfect 'Taylor Made' holiday for me as a single traveller. Kept in contact and were always at the end of the phone for any queries. All itineries, tickets and vouchers were organised and easy to understand. Good advice on excursions and information about Canada & Alaska. Adla Toal was especially helpful, nice to receive a good luck call just before my holiday. Wonderful trip.”

“The trip was wonderful. The trepidation we felt before the trip was unfounded. The organisation that you gave us was second to non. The hotels were wonderful the connections with taxis went very smoothly. The rocky mountaineer was a marvellous experience, with too much to eat and drink! The cruise was an experience not to be missed. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The heavy snowfall you arranged for us in Banff was totally unexpected, I am sure you would have if you could, but seriously the trip was wonderful.”

“All arrangements were first class and apart from the odd avalanche no delays were encountered on the trip. All of the day trips/visits were well thought through. The recommendation to ride on the Rocky Mountaineer on the gold tariff was worth the extra.”

“We booked our Alaskan cruise, Rocky Mointaineer and Rockies tour through Michelle. Everything went very smoothly, really pleased with the accommodation and the Rocky Mountaineer was awesome! A fabulous holiday...can recommend Barrhead Travel.”

“Our holiday was a cruise to the Carribean and a stay in New York. I always book my holiday through Anne McAldowie as she has booked my holidays for a few years now. No matter where I have gone she has worked exceptionally hard to make sure everything is 1st class. This was no different. From the hotel in Times Sq to the facilities provided on the cruise, she arranged everything. I have been booking my holidays through Barrhead Travel for over 20yrs. I can honestly say I would be very surprised if I would go anywhere else, and I do price check where I want to go and Barrhead Travel have either matched or beaten all prices. I hope the company are aware of how good a travel specialist Anne is. She is definitely an asset to the company. If I had to make any adverse comments I would need to say it was the food on the flight. Not very good at all but that was a small price to pay for another lovely holiday”

“Very helpful,good co-operation between Barrhead and myself.Hotels were excellent and all other travel arrangements were very good.Craig was very good and everything ran smoothly.I have used Barrhead for my Canadian holidays for 3 of the last 4 years and they have provided an excellent service.”

“From start to finish our trip to Canada and Alaska was wonderful, the booking process and all the information provided before we went, all the hotels and flights went smoothly, and the cruise part was tremendous, surely the only way to see Alaska. It's hard for us to say what the best bit was, but Toronto and Vancouver were both great, the included excursion to Niagara meant we could catch up with family. We loved the self drive part from Vancouver to Calgary, and extra days would have been beneficial, would definitely recommend Barrhead travel for any future Canadian trips, thanks”

“Adla Taol at Barrhead Travel came to my rescue when I was having difficulties planning our Canadian itinerary. She gave well informed advice on our Rocky Mountaineer options and suggested adding an extra day to our visit to Banff in order to take a trip to the Lakes and waterfalls - the scenery was spectacular and not to be missed. All our travel plans went smoothly and according to plan. We also enjoyed the first snow of the season, thank you for arranging that too !”

“The flights were well organised and the hotel was super and we were upgraded on our second stay, the cruise to Alaska was very good a lot of hanging about to get on the ship but once on very good. Paper work was good and all went well.”
