Natalie Stewart, organised a fantastic road trip around Canada for us, it was so good we are thinking of going again in 2017. If your thinking of hiring a camper in Canada then you are looking at he best company to travel with, every thing was arranged by Natalie, the Air Canada flight was very good. The hotel in Calgary was the International in the centre of the downtown region, the transfer from Airport to hotel with Jonview was on time. Canadreams were are very helpful team of people, we hired a Deluxe Camper, (DVC) for the two of us, we did find it a little on the small side and we will have a larger Super Van Conversion (SVC), for our next trip. If you are concerned about driving in Canada, don't be, there driving style is very relaxed the road layouts are simple you just need to think bit more for left turns. Four way stops are simple Just give way to the guy on the right or wait till they all look at you, then you know its your turn, as i said it very easy to drive in Alberta and British Columbia, don't worry about it, it's simple. We covered about 2000 Kms the fuel bill was only $412 around £238. We are already planning our next trip and it will be with Barhead Travel, they have the experience to cater for all your needs. Thanks Steve & Violet Nightingale.

My husband and I Have just returned from a great holiday expertly organised by Craig at Barrhead travel. This is a holiday we had been trying to do for almost two years having had to cancel due to my husband,s ill health. We flew to Calgary from Glasgow , staying overnight and then went to Banff for a few days before joining the Rocky Mountaineer which took us to Vancouver , where we stayed for a few days before returning home. The hotels, transfers, and excursions were excellent , with everything running exactly to schedule. Craig made sure our travel requirements were met and nothing was too much trouble, even when we thought we may have had to cancel our trip. Would highly recommend Craig to arrange an excellent holiday. Marie McGinley

Adla had been recommended by a friend and she was excellent. Very professional and efficient (& friendly). She took a lot of care in the rarely straight forward booking phase as our details were not straightforward. We got exactly what we wanted. Adla had to wrap the trip around a Celebrity Alaska cruise and a land travel with the flights and a further week in Vancouver/Rocky Mountaineer/Banff. All were sorted. The Vancouver and Banff hotels were excellent and the Rocky Mountaineer Gold Leaf was quality. The flight timings worked perfectly. Overall, we had probably our best ever trip.

This was my second time using Barrhead Travel/Canada Travel specialists. Craig McAllister was our agent and he came up with the goods, not only co-ordinating travel for a family of four from the UK, but also a family of two from Australia. We started in Boston, then New York. Flew to Calgary, picked up our car and travelled through the Rockies via Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper, Clearwater*, Whistler and ending in Vancouver. The hotels were all of a really good standard, transfers were seamless, no issues whatsover. We have some wonderful shared memories and photos of our holiday shared with Australian family. * Alpine Meadows lake resort in Clearwater was just fabulous, we could have stayed a whole week, beautiful scenery, good hosts, lovely cabins with good amenities.

Lifetime holiday Hi my name is Eileen Mackay and I live up in the highlands of Scotland. 3 of my friends and I had planned to go on holiday to celebrate us all turning 40 and 50. We wanted it to be really special. We didn't know where to start. My friend recommended Adla as she had dealt with her before and said she was so helpful and not pressuring at anytime. Well poor Adla because we were a nightmare trying t pin us down and set dates etc. she gave us advice on where to start for eg to write down what we all wanted to do. Well the list eventually was two nights in London going to two shows. Flying then to Calgary for the stampede and we stayed in the most beautiful hotel beside all the attractions and had tickets ready for stampede with party bags and treats included. We had a ball. We then moved onto horse ranch riding up in the mountains for a few days. Spectacular we all cried when we left as we got so fond of the host. We visited lake Louise and Banff. Adla had organised car hire and everything just flowed. The ranch was beautiful. After riding up in the mountains we traveled back to Calgary and flew the next day to cancun for a week on the beach. Woh the hotel and Location was breath taking in a five star hotel all inclusive. After sobering up we arrived back in Glasgow to meet the husbands. Adla excelled herself in finding this experience and organising everything in such an organised way. I cannot thank Adla enough because I was a nightmare to communicate with due to my workload. Adla never got annoyed and is such an asset to your company. We felt we had to write to you because she did this for us so efficiently. So we are all recommending her to family and friends and I am currently trying to book two more hols with her. She has a lot to live up to now because ur experience could not be bettered. Please on our behalf thank Adla for making our dream come true. Please feel free to use my review on your site. Also you are free to use our photos to try and let you capture a little taste of paradise. Thank you Adla you are one in a million. Kind regards Eileen xxxxx

This was my second dealing with Barrhead travel for a "big" holiday. (It was for us anyway) Family of four travelling to Toronto, Niagara Falls, Washinton DC, Manhattan and Long Island. Called at St Vincent St to get some ideas. Laura was Five Star in her approach to organising our trip. There were numerous flights, hotels, multi centres, train trip and hire cars. (Lots could have gone wrong). It was organised with meticulous attention to detail and went off seamlessly. All timings were perfect and everything went as planned. We had a great holiday, which was great value with the piece of mind and assurance of such a big company behind us. I cannot recommend Laura highly enough and would definitely use Barrhead again. Thank you for all the help and understanding of our needs.

Craig McAllister arranged our trip at quite short notice and the itinerary he gave us was great. We managed to visit Vancouver, Jasper, Lake Louise, Banff, Toronto and Niagara Falls in 12 days. All the hotels were good and the transfers were seamless. Would definitely travel with this company again.

While researching a do it yourself trip across Canada including train over the Rockies, an ad popped up for Barrhead Travel as Canada specialists with attractive looking prices compared to some of the figures I had been coming up with. Normally sceptical of such things I thought no harm in pinging off an email. Quite quickly received a call from Michelle, who explained that she had been there and done stuff so perhaps could give some advice based on what we were interested in, so explained the rough plans including family visits and need for good flights with comfortable overnight seats etc. Soon received an outline itinerary which after a bit of tweaking looked perfect and at a great price so went ahead and booked. Best decision ever as far as holidays go, would never have managed anything so good or at such fantastic value independently, so don't hesitate to recommend them for your trip, will be using them again for sure.

Natalie Stewart organised our three week holiday to Western Canada brilliantly. She managed to fit in everything we asked for and came up with excellent suggestions. The hotels were well chosen being very central, friendly and not too large. Everyone in the hotels, transfers and trips knew we were coming and everything ran smoothly. Natalie always answered my queries promptly.

We have just returned from our road trip in Canada and the USA. Having visited in the past this vacation was the best by far. Natali Stewart gave us the a comprehensive insite into not only places of interest, a must see if you like but also good quality hotels and restaurants that really complemented each day. We covered just over four thousand kelometers with a vehicle provided by Avis which I must say was first class. The Ford Explorer did not miss a beat. Vancouver island is the jewel of Canada that was until we visited Banff and beyond. It really does take your breath away. Try Lake Louis or Waterton Park you will see what I mean. On route we actually saw a real live Black Bear in the wild , didnt think that would ever happen!!! The US side of the border was every bit inviting Idaho and Montana are out of this world if a little warm at 43deg. Can't thank Natali enough for a wonderful holiday that we will not forget. We have said (god willing) will return in 2018. But really.....We cant wait!!!

Overall the trip was good but some points to note -Both flights with Air Transat were awful. Seats so narrow that I could hardly sit down, the extra leg room that I paid for was a joke, and the 'food' was unacceptable. The cabin staff are clearly embarrassed by the service offered because they hide away during the flight. -The Wall Centre Hotel looks magnificent and the views from windows superb but it took 90 minutes to check in and we were even given the keys to a room that someone was already occupying. They gave us a $75 credit to apologise and then on checkout tried to charge me for not only for the food I used the credit to have, but also added a gratuity that I expressly said I was not giving because the staff did not give a good service. -The Banff International Hotel was not brilliant either very dark room and couldn't serve breakfast because their computer was down! The Ptarmigan next door was much better and their breakfast is included in room rates. -Brewsters may need to look to their servicing of their fleet as we were left stranded on two consecutive days due to vehicle breakdown. This meant we had no time to look around Jasper centre and even worse we lost over 2 hours precious time at the Fairmont Chateau. I have emailed Brewsters regarding this loss and am disappointed that so far they have not even replied other than confirm my email address -Finally the lunch at Columbia Icefield was horrendous we had only 30 minutes before having to get on the Icefield bus and the buffet was a disorganised mess of very badly cooked dishes resembling the worst school meal I can remember Overall the trip was good but could have been superb if the above points had not arisen.

Adla put together a trip to celebrate my wife,s big birthday I could never have. Calgary stampede, the tour of the Rockies, a night at Fairmont lake louise, the stay in Vancouver with her sister were all memorable and she loved standing on Athabasca Glacier, marvelled at the views in the Rockies and was scared to death at Flyover Canada. Even the rain at the Stampede just made for greater fun.

Fantastic Canadian adventure expertly arranged by Anne. We started our journey in Glasgow, flying club class to London then on to Calgary, we had 4 days there and attended the marvellous Stampede. We actually got it dry!! From there we were taken by Brewster Travel to Banff, Lake Louise, and Banff(stopping at Bow summit, Colombia Icefields, and althabascar falls) before joining the Rocky Mountaineer Train to Kamloops then on to Vanvouver. We had a couple of nights there before taking the coach and ferry across to Victoria, where we visited the amazing Butchart Gardens. On our return to Vancouver by seaplane we then went on the Celebrity Infinity to Alaska which was incredible. then flew club class back to London/Glasgow. All our transfers were extremely smooth with no delays and hotels were 1st class. Would definitely recommend Canada Travel Specialists to anyone wishing to visit this amazing country.

Travelled from Gatwick to Calgary. The hotel was superb. We enjoyed the Calgaty Stampede but unfortunately it rained all the time. We then hired a car and drove to Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper stopping off to see the Columbia Icefield. We then went from Jasper to Vancouver on the Rocky Mountaineer. Everything about the holiday was well organised and the hotels were very good. I have already told my friends that I booked through Barrhead Travel and would certainly book through them again. Well done Craig.

I would definintely recommend a holiday to Canada and most definitely recommend Barrhead Travel. From my first contacting them they did every thing I needed to ensure the best holiday possible. I saw basically the trip I wanted on their website and they happily made a few changes to make it exact. The hotels they booked were all excellent, being well located and spotlessly clean. Canada is a fantastic country with some of the friendliest people my wife and I have encountered anywhere. The drive we had from Calgary to Vancouver was breath taking, just don't underestimate the distances as this country is vast but magnificent. Just beware of the time share salesmen in Whistler and try to avoid renting a car from Avis.

Fantastic holiday from Calgary through the Rockies ending in Vancouver. Aida Toal was a excellent agent and put together a top agenda. Only problem i found was the flight with Air Transat. Seats seem narrow and the food and drinks for the length of flight were not very good. Perhaps think if using a different airline.

We had an amazing 15 night road trip from Calgary to Vancouver. Thanks to Anne for organising it all and the welcome pack on arrival it all went seamlessly. There were 2 adults and 2 children on our trip which included Banff / Jasper / Clearwater / Whistler / Vancouver. Each place had its own characteristics and were all a different experience. We managed to cover as much family orientated activities as we could fit in - hiking, hot springs, gondolas, star gazing, wildlife hunting, mountain biking, ziplines, eating lots of different things and all in the most amazing scenery. Then shopping in Vancouver (once we found the shops in Robson street)! The hotels booked for us were great. In good locations but quiet and peaceful at night. They all had hot tubs and/or swimming pools. The activities available at Clearwater were amazing and kept the kids entertained whilst we had a few chill out days. This was a fantastic trip and we made some great memories and had some amazing experiences. We managed to fit loads in but we could go back, do the same trip again and fill it with different things. The only downside was that we had to go to London for the flight to Calgary. We went into agent with just the idea of a trip across the Rockies for a family of 4 - not really sure of where to go or how to do it. Anne pulled this together taking in all of our ideas and made one magical holiday. Thanks again.
