The mower is excellent, as was delivery. The extended warranty is of no use to me because item 6 (f) requires installation to have be carried out by an authorised reseller. I was not aware of this at the time of purchase. Unfortunately this has left a bad taste in otherwise good service, given that I am not entitled to a refund

I ordered a full crate of alder logs recently. I have no complaint about the order process or delivery and the quality of the kiln-dried wood per se. The issue I have is that too many of the logs simply won't fit in our 5KwH stovax stockton, and some won't even fit into our second 6KwH stove. I had this issue earlier in the season with another large wood fuel supplier who eventually provided a partial refund. So on this occasion 2 stars is the most I can honestly give.

My 3rdt order of a large crate of logs since the summer of 2020. The first two were birch the last was ash. Many of the logs were much too big and difficult to split. I want you to swop these weight for weight for smaller logs. Thank you.

Good product at a good price but service was very poor. I requested the parcel to be shipped to my workplace but when the confirmation email came through, it became apparent that it had been despatched to my home address ... so I had no alternative but to take a short notice holiday from work the following day to take receipt of the package. Got an email to say it would be del'd between 07:00 and 22:00 ...sat around all day waiting for it only to be told around 20:00 that it was delayed and would not be delivered until next day ... cue ANOTHER emergency holiday 😡 Maybe if I hadn't tried to save myself a massive £10 and opted for a different supplier I might still have my two days holiday to take at my own convenience.

Great service as always . But the new briquettes not up to usual standard, loosely compacted and certainly don’t burn as well as old batch.

Logs arrived only for the courier. being unable to use is pallet mover x 2 both broken, ended up having to handball all the logs, which is unacceptable.

Product is the same as elsewhere but it's no cheaper. The thing that really let my experience down was delievery. I ordered for one date and stayed in as it's an all day delivery slot and, of course, the delivery didn't turn up and I got no notification of whrn it would - but I noted in the email I received after ordering that if I wasn't in when they chose to turn up and they could not make the delivery then I would be charged anyway. When selling products for delivery I would have thought it would have been much less hassle.

Delivery on time and driver very obliging unfortunately the quality of the logs was disappointing. The outer logs were perfect but the wood in the centre of the pallet was full of very small pieces of logs. I accept that I would always get some small pieces of logs but the amount in this load was disappointing. The previous delivery was excellent with some smaller pieces of logs.

The communication prior to the delivery from Calido was excelllent; they informed me accurately by phone of the delivery slot and indeed the delivery was made as expected. Unfortunately the wood is not as dry as I would expect and thus the burn is not fantastic. I did converse with Calido about this however after a couple of emails (informing them of my concern and giving more qualitative information) the communication stopped; no offer of resolution not to even come and check the moisture level (to try to disrobe me or alleviate my concerns). Ultimately leading me to leave this review. I do wish it had gone better post-delivery but It seems that as with many companies, once the money is in the coffers all bets are off.

Hi Daniel, it's still peak season for us and we are extremely busy working with less staff than optimal for various reasons hence the slower than normal reply. This review is completely unnecessary and inaccurate as I replied to you within an hour and a half of your first email late in the evening. I went to investigate what went wrong with your batch of logs which took a bit longer than anticipated but I did reply. Perhaps you could check your inbox for the email I sent you the 5th March at 18:33 with a suggestion on how we could resolve this, this email went unanswered. We are a small family business that put a lot of effort into both pre and post purchase customer service so your comment about all bets being off once the money is in the coffers is a bit harsh.
