“I have had two loads (1.17m3) of Ash and one load of Birch this winter. All wood is appropriately sized, dry as a bone and burns like a dream, with absolutely no spitting, which is important for my open fire. John is extremely helpful, delivers on time, every time and positions the stack (with handy wood store) right in the corner of my garage. Can praise Calido and John enough. High quality product and service. Best Regards, Brian”

“Dealing with John is excellent, nothing is too much trouble. The delivery was very prompt and the quality of the logs are perfect. We wouldn't get our supply anywhere else now. The log store that the logs come in is ideal and fits neatly in the corner of our garage.”

“I was using another log supplier when my brother told me about Calido logs so I switched this winter and must say not only have I saved money but the process is simple. Order online get your delivery day and time and the logs arrive, on the off chance they are outwit the delivery window they always phone to keep me informed. I only buy Kiln dried logs and to date I have had no issues.”

“Fast, efficient delivery and the crate arrived with a good range of different sized logs. Checked a number of the logs with my moisture tester and they averaged 15-16% moisture content. The logs burn really well, with the benefit of knowing what species of tree the logs you are buying have come from, compared to some other logs I have received from local suppliers where it is a hit or a miss whether you get a good burning wood species or not. I will definitely be using Calido Logs for my next purchase due to the quality of the logs and the speedy delivery.”

“Calido Logs not only delivered some fantastic wood, kindle and firelighters for me the other day but their customer service was wonderful. I've had logs before (which didn't burn nearly as well as theirs!) and they have just been dumped in a large pile! John piled them all neatly in the log store and the extras in the garage and couldn't have been more helpful. Would highly recommend them.”

“The logs are bone dry, catch easily and burn fairly slowly with a good heat output and a bright flame; however they do spit rather more than expected and certainly much more than other hardwoods that we have bought. The delivery became a matter of [ultimately successful] negotiation because we do not have a "kerbside" in the parlance of delivery drivers.”
