“Bit pricier than previous heat logs I've bought, but I think they are superior. Maybe because they were oak. I can burn one and get great heat from it for well over an hour, before I need another. They stack well, and are easy to move.”

“Logs arrived only for the courier. being unable to use is pallet mover x 2 both broken, ended up having to handball all the logs, which is unacceptable.”

“I had a phone call as promised before delivery. As an early delivery grateful for the call. Pallet ut in garage space as requested. Looking forward to using my first order of mixed netted logs. Grandson put a bag in my log basket.”

“Very helpful staff who gave good advice over the phone. The wood is well packed,dry and burns well. There are some small pieces but these are used as kindling to start the fire. The delivery driver (James) was excellent- helpful, polite and went the extra mile to get the pallet to the place where I wanted it. He sums up the company, great service, great product and good price. I will be placing another soon based on my first experience with calido”

“The Calido Hot Blox give excellent long lasting heat. The price for a half pallet has risen by 24% (£179 on 17th Dec 2020 to £225 on 1st Dec 2021) which seems a bit steep.”

Hi Eric, Thanks for your recent purchase. It's disappointing to see a 3 star review that gets classed as a negative review within the reviews world! The price hike is something completely out of our control, the cost of the briquettes coming into us and the onward delivery to you have gone up significantly. We've absorbed as much as we can to the extent that we make less per pallet this year than last which makes your negative review all the more frustrating. These price hikes are happening across all sectors and as a business we either put the price up, stop selling the product or go out of business! Kind Regards, John Farrell Owner Calido

“Being a first time customer, (Calido was recommended by my father in law), I ordered the birch multi pack, and have not been disappointed. Rather the opposite, the delivery date was accurate and delivered via a rather excellent forklift, the driver placed the pallet straight into the garage, and pushed it in. Only just started to burn the logs and have been surprised by how much better they burn, putting out more heat than our previous supplier. Overall, ordering very easy, delivery date adhered to, delivery to my storage area and wood and extras are excellent, will definitely be ordering again.”
