“The last two batches of logs I've ordered from Calido have been seriously dry, almost to the point where kindling isn't necessary to get the fire started - I just used some of the smaller pieces to start off with. They burn like paper, which means I was going through quite a lot of logs in a short space of time. I'm undecided if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but they do burn very clean, and unlike seasoned logs there's no charcoal left in the stove in the morning - everything has burnt away fully. I've been using Calido for a while now, and their service is great. The logs always arrive on time, and the team are always very responsive to my communications.”

“You get 1st attention when visit the office. Prompt delivery service and on time. Not having a drive way they delivered the pallet up to my gate to allow me to easily decant the pallet into my property. All done with a smile.”

“Delivery was quick, and though the briquettes were missed off the delivery initially, it was quickly corrected, even though it was late on Saturday afternoon. It is a pleasure to have such personal and responsive service. The logs and briquettes burn well. Delighted!”

“I normally log, split and dry my own wood so was a sceptic before buying however I can 100% recommend John and Lauren's kiln dried hardwood logs. I ordered two pallets of the birch logs and they are fantastic, excellent service and nice folks to boot - a safe buy.”

“I had used a supplier claiming to provide Latvian kiln dried logs, which basically were damp - they smouldered in the stove and only ignited when the air vents were opened full. I took a punt on a Calido crate, and what a difference. I'm currently having a 'discussion' with the Mrs about opening windows and doors as she claims to be melting (as do the kids), while I'm not content with the current room temperature as it only approximates to the surface of the sun. The wood is dry, comes in a good selection of large and small chucks and was delivered on time. Good supplier, will definately be using Calido again.”

“Very prompt service. Very pleasant doing business with Calido Logs. Quality of logs excellent. There are cheaper to be had but these don't come anywhere near the high quality of Calido Logs which burn readily with great heat. Plus all your other needs met for kindling, coal, heat logs and storage. I highly recommend them over all others.”
