“Normally I don't do reviews - I order something from someone, I pay for it - it arrives (and works). That's normal service - not worth a review. It's only when something goes wrong, and customer service gets a chance to either excel (or fail) is a review worth writing. This transaction went wrong badly - and for a very silly reason. I ordered a fibre connection box that I could use to join four bits of duplex fibre together via keystones mounted in a nice solid box. It's just a metal box with 2/4 keystones in it. I got what I ordered, however in order to actually make use of the box (and remove the mounting stuff that ships inside the box) you need to open the box. This involves undoing two screws and proceeding from there. Whoever the "gorilla" was that had put the box together in the first place had done the screws up so tightly that I could not undo them without stripping the heads despite being careful. So I phoned up Cable Monkey, told them the problem and they arranged a collection / replacement service. The new box had exactly the same problem, 1 stripped screw later, I didn't attempt the second screw (that actually appeared slightly damaged anyway) I phone up Cable Monkey and we have a laugh about the problem. They again arrange a collection / replacement service and this time have a serious word with the factory floor. A third box turns up - and I can open it - yeah My point is this. At no point did Cable Monkey give me any grief about the issue. (yes - we did have a laugh about it). They were responsive and the replacement collection/deliveries were arranged quickly and efficiently. So 5* to Cable Monkey”
