“The delivery manager agreed a date and time. The delivery man was very helpful as we are situated in a boat yard. Ok some sheets did have a little damage on the edge but they gave us a few more sheet in lieu, thank you. The sheets we purchased were in the sale and were a good price.”

“Good old fashioned service from established company. Telephone operators know what they're talking about and are helpful/friendly. Prompt delivery of orders and they arrive when they say they will. C&A drivers are friendly as well. I prefer telephone ordering, this works well with C&A. Don't change a thing. My last order was for polycarbonate sheets.”

“Materials good, however aBsolute terrible customer service. I ordered a wrong part by mistake, my error, called fooling morning to correct, still waiting for call back 2 months later, stuck with part I didn't want. Tried emailing regarding this matter, still awaiting response 6 weeks later. As I say product good, service shite, outcome - plenty of other suppliers out there”

After looking into this order, there does appear to be notes upon it that you had emailed in after delivery that you had ordered items in error, we have no notes with regards to a telephone converstaion that you mention, and it is unusual for not recieving a return call. We would appreciate if you are able to provide us the name of the person you spoke with so that we can investigate this internally. We are sorry that you feel that you have not had an experience that you feel you should have, and that this has resulted in this negative feedback. We are glad that you have found the materials good, and happy with your finished project. This experience does indeed reinforce the old builders adage of "measure twice and cut once" and in this case material list check twice and purchase once. It sounds like we will not be seeing you again as a customer from this review, but we wish you all the best with your future projects C & A Building Plastics

Dear Mr Bailey We are sorry your feel the service was not a 5 star experience, having looked at the order we confirmed it on Monday the 5th and it went on the next available vehicle to that area which was the following Monday 12th. The vehicles are on the road all week from the Monday to the Friday to make the deliveries to the customers and so could not have gone out any faster than this (you order was confirmed after the vehicles where loaded and left for that week). We use our own vehicles for these very large materials to prevent damage that can happen with general carriers, and you can see this by the reviews left on competitors sites with regards to the damages they receive. The drivers do call the day before the delivery to let you know when they anticipate to be with you the following day, but we can not predict all the traffic and accidents that have not happened yet in advance. Transportation and logistics is often the biggest issue in any transaction, and we provide a comprehensive service on this at minimal cost, although if these are the biggest issues you have we do run trade counters so that you can purchase on the counter and collect with your own vehicles, although you may find this not cost effective given the 500 mile round trip in your case.
