“Very impressed with the service on line but especially the service at the Gillingham branch. Having never used Polycarbonate before I was pleased to find how pliable and well made it is. “I purchased polycarbonate sheeting and fittings. Excellent customer service. Ihsaan was very helpful and advised as to the best products to order for the job. I was phoned the day before to arrange delivery and goods arrived on time delivered by a cheery helpful driver. Would definitely use this company again”

“I ordered some roof line building plastics, they arrived in a timely manner and in excellent condition, around five working days, driver was friendly and kept us well informed from the day before with regular updates of to when the goods would arrive. I will be placing further orders with C & A Building Plastics in the future. Many thanks, could not fault F Fletcher.,”

“Bit chaotic, Tried to ring to check something, 1.2 hrs wasted. Got from position 4 to position one twice only to be put back to position 4! I understand about covid impact but not sure a phone system can get infected by it. But im not a doctor. Will not be back.”

“I ordered 18 - 150 guttering bends on the Monday . I got a text to say they did not have them in stock. I sent a text back stating that I needed these by the Friday. I got a phone call to say they had tried their other branches and I would have all I had ordered by Friday. I would like to say thank you to the person on the phone for getting all my 150 bends at the right time for me.”

“got my materials in the end, they are not up two speed and far far behind over firms no staff to make up orders no one picks phone up very frustrating company, with a website that at the end of wasting your time would not complete your order and the boss is there in the yard. get your men back, and keep your customers happy”

Thank you for you review and the points raised. We have been operating throughout the lock down and never closed all our staff are extremely busy servicing orders that have been booked online , by email and over the phone. Unfortunately the phones are extremely busy and even with remote workers keeping up with calls is not possible all of the time. We have introduced lots of changes over the last few months and one of these is the automated phone service, if you wait in the que someone will answer your call. The website site works fine and going by your feed back it is obvious that you did not select the collection branch, you need to do this if you do not do this then you can not pay for your order. We are not like many other companies who have a small unit only servicing the local area but we are delivering all over the UK and processing hundreds of orders a day which requires a large number of staff. I have looked at our call logs and can say that yesterday we answered more than 150 phone calls. To ensure our staff and customers are safe we are abiding by the government guide lines and ensuring social distancing, Whilst some people may find this less than convenient we take the risk of infection seriously and this means that measures in place do add addition time to order picking and processing whilst staff wash their hands, clean their work areas and equipment. It's not a case of brining more staff back its a case of people accepting things are not how they used to be. The reason you have seen the Boss in the yard is because both MD are processing sales, answering calls and picking and packing along with serving customers on the collection side of things. Everyone at C&A is working long hours and many need a break as they have worked throughout the last four months supplying materials to all industries including NHS, Care Homes, Dentists, Government Bodies, Shops, Pubs etc who have all been extremely grateful of the service we have provided during lock down.
