“Very pleased with the products I purchased. The delivery service was excellent .The only small problem I had was that 1 item was wrongly dispatched even though I ordered the correct part.The delivery driver sorted the problem out the next day and the correct part was received the following day. I would have no reservations about using C&A again.”

“The wrong item was sent and C&A refused to fulfill the order having acknowledged it was their error. It was only when I threatened legal action that the order was fulfilled. Good product, really poor customer service.”

Dear Mr Campion Thank you for the review, We are glad that you like the product and are sorry that you have had a bad experience. From the notes that are on the system I can see that the wrong colour was dispatched initially, and this reviews is from the reissued parts. We have identified a couple of the members of staff that you have had dealings with and those who picked the order, and will be holding interviews with them and remedial actions. Dear Mr Reader Thank you for this Review and the photo, I have quickly looked into this and can see that these items went on carrier for you. I am getting the dispatch notes pulled from the warehouse with the consignment number. Looking at the list of the materials I would anticipate that there would have been 2 bundles and it sounds like you have only received one if you only have half the number of boards. “First time I have used C & A . They were very helpful on the phone as I have had problems getting caramel guttering fittings. The quality is first class and the service was 100%. Delivery was next day. Ido have a second project coming up and I WILL place the order with this company. Nice to see a company still looks after their customers. Thank you.”

“We placed an order for collection as you are local to us.We were unhappy to find the order short of h trim. When we phoned we were told the trim was still in your rack and did we want to collect it!.No we didn't!. It was sent to us next day. You do not take card payment over the phone for collections.This must loose you a lot of business with customers local to your depots. A few weeks ago I wanted my customer to pay for aprox £2000 worth of underground drainage for us to collect and he had to go to you to pay 1st. We purchased it from a supplier in the midlands on a card and it was delivered next day. We would use you more if you accept card payment before collection. My driver also said the order wasn't ready to pick up and we should stick with using mj plastics. Regards Mark Potter”

Dear Sir / Madam The terms of condition for the credit card terminal prevent us from accepting credit card numbers on the phone for collection by third parties. We can not change this or we could lose the ability to process all cards. This is in effect an anti fraud procedure and is in place to keep customers safe, if you think about it every time you give someone your card details, you have in fact given away all your security information to process that order (and any order). We do accept chip and pin on the trade counters, we do accept cash, we do also accept Bank Transfer (but there are lead times for processing and account verification). Many of our regulars also operate a pre-paid account system, where they leave money on deposit with us and then use official purchase orders for materials which then reduces the balance. We do of course offer delivery. Due to space restrictions, customers failing to turn up and many other reasons, orders are only picked once a customer have arrived.
