“Really impressed! Carefully delivered with no damage. Drill bits, rivets and rivet gun supplied. Took us two good half days to complete but this was our first time and we were cutting it to fit in a defined space. Comprehensive instruction book and video on line. Finished article looks really good, to be honest much better than we'd expected. We're already considering adding a second!”

“30% CHEAPER INC DELIVERY THAN ANY OTHER SUPPLIER I COULD FIND FOR THE SAME PRODUCT! i DON'T KNOW IF THE QUALITY IS AS GOOD AS OTHER ADVERTISED CORALUX SHEETING,TIME WILL TELL, EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION VIA EMAIL/TEXT AS TO EXPECTED DELIVERY DATE AND TIME.”

“32 years ago I bought some polycarbonate sheets and fittings from C & A Plastics to add a roof on a conservatory I was building. Now I want to extend my conservatory so who else would I buy the materials from? The product is of excellent quality and the delivery is extremely reliable! C & A for me again - no contest.”

“First class service and product, looks fantastic it took me a while to work out the correct spacing for the foundations I ended up shorting it by 200mm this was easily done, I done the foundations abd cut everything down on the Wed took 5 hours and erected the canopy on the Sun it took 4 1/2 hours on my own using clamps it would have been quicker with two people. Thank you C&A for another brilliant product. Alfie”

“Your company took far too long to deliver the products to me and they now want to punish me again, as I have ordered the wrong size of products and I have been advised to correct this, I will have to pay double the price for delivery, which I feel is very unfair. I was told that delivery would be charged both ways - for collection of existing wrong products and delivery of new products.”

Thank you for the review, we are sorry you feel a charge for returning an item is unfair, we hope this explanation helps to clarify the situation Your order induces very large sheets that need a specialist vehicle for delivery, these were delivered within our standard quoted time frames for such products and so we are unsure as to why you believe they were too long. If you need materials quicker you are able to collect them from the depot and arrange your own transportation. The safe return of an items is the responsibility of the customer to get it to the store and the costs associated in doing so, and the product then has its own processes cycle for unloading, checking re-booking into stock which is very different to those that are delivered from a supplier in bulk. The charges we make for delivery do not actually cover the true economic costs of doing so when taking into account, wages, fuel, maintenance, depreciation etc and so are in fact subsidised by the product purchased. In a return there is no subsidy and the original subsidy that was made on the items is then also lost. Having materials on vehicle for return also limits its load capacity for making deliveries, which can delay other customers orders within the system. We offer the collection of products as a customer service relationship offering for those who do not have a large enough vehicle to transport the goods themselves, but it does cost a lot and we do make this clear in our terms and conditions that the cost of a return will be different to that of a delivery. I appreciate you are feeling that you are disappointed at having to pay a returns charge, just as we are disappointed that we will be losing money on servicing this loss making order in an attempt to make you happy in the name of customer services, but it looks like this is an attempt being made in vain. These situations are therefore a lose / lose situation for all. If you feel that you are able to return the items in a more cost effective manor then please do so, and we look forward to their return and the freeing up of our vehicle and resources. “I was very pleased with the speedy order taken over the phone and materials were delivered sooner than expected. I wasn't told of the 50th Anniversary free gift you could have when spending over £100 since my order was over £300, whether this is over the phone or via a web order it should still apply, written to let them know but still awaiting an answer.”

All the items for my carport where delivered well protectively wrapped and unloaded by a very helpful driver. All instructions downloaded from C & A website were clear to understand.
