“I contacted 5 different suppliers of carports but was disappointed with their responses. Their sales staff did not fully understand the products they were selling, had poor technical knowledge and seemed only interested in supplying their standard packages rather than a bespoke installation that I needed to fit the profile of my property. But when I contacted C&A they were willing, indeed enthusiastic, to discuss my requirements. They soon came up with a practical and economic solution. It was a pleasure to talk to competent staff who not only knew their products in detail but clearly had practical experience in fitting carports and were able to offer valuable advice to someone who had never fitted a carport before. Offering a variety of different carport systems they were able to suggest the most appropriate make to my requirements, unlike some companies that offered only one product. A bespoke package was agreed and everything was delivered 72 hours later. Nothing was missing in the kit. The product is good quality and robust. I am halfway through the job with no problems. I am already planning another similar project on the other side of the property. Lee Lavelle”

“Bought roofing polycarbonate around 12 years ago. I hadn't a clue but the guys sorted me out over the phone. This year I needed more polycarbonate sheets and accessories, using C & A was a no-brainer. Just as helpful as last time and, it seemed to me, a fair price. Since then I placed a small order to tidy up existing roofing and, once again, simple to do and products arrived on time and correct. Next time of course I'll be back - says everything about my experience dealing with them. Oh, I'm just a keen DIYer without no previous knowledge of roofing ... thanks guys!”

“The corrugated plastic sheets that I installed on my elderly sisters roof 5 years ago have turned black and unsightly while letting very little light in , I’ve now got to replace them and at 73 and now living 100 miles from her it’s a real pain. Although fitted 5 years ago the discolouration started quite a while back, was they in a faulty batch or can I expect the replacements to go the same ?”

Hi Thank you for the review, from looking at the photo it would appear that these sheets are on an enclosed structure who no ventilation around the sheets. Looking as if these have been used on a conservatory style building lean too it would also appear that there are either blinds or insulation under the sheet's, or in extreme case's it could be that the room is not ventilated adequately. In effect these sheets have been baked and so the ageing process is then rapidly accelerated from them not being used in their servicable. and as with a cake analagy if it is exposed to temperatures much grater than the designed servicability the do bake and change colour. Given you are unlikely going to wish to change the use of this room significantly, it would not be recommended to use PVC corrugated for this type of enclosed application. “My friend and I are getting on in years now but the two of us managed to erect my carport in one one day ,it was quite easy to put together and I am delighted with lt the instructions were brilliant so a great help and I will certainly recommend your product .also the delivery driver was a great help when unloading and explained what was what so thanks to all..ps excellent price as well.regards mr Morris”

“Purchased 2 sheets of plastic on 14th July. Never received them. Reached out asking for a dispatch date, got blanked. Still haven't received anything to this day. TX on my bank statement shows as complete (i.e. they took the money but didn't send what I ordered). Avoid.”

We are sorry you have left a 1 star review and i have looked into this and can confirm your order was despatched by tuffnells courier. With regards to your comments, we have not been able to find any records of you ever contacting us. I have checked emails and your email address returned no results. You say you TX us i presume this is texted however i do not know what number you would have texted as we have a landline number which is staffed during the day and also has an out of hours voice mail service which you could have left a message on. Once again sorry that you feel you have been ignored but believe this could have been resolved very easily with a phone call or email.
