“I ordered the Times newspaper dated 14 March 1929 to give my Uncle for his 93rd birthday - the paper from the day he was born! It was fascinating and interesting to see how different it was from today's newspapers. My Uncle was thrilled to receive such a present! I will definitely order some other newspapers with memorable family dates.”

“A lovely box and tissue paper; I was a little disappointed because the newspaper had few pages but I believe this is because it was printed during ww2. The ordering was easy and the parcel arrived promptly.”

Hi Sorry you to hear that you aren't totally happy with your 1947 original newspaper, the Times newspaper didn't start printing headlines like we know them today till May 1966 and the Late London edition The Times newspaper is printed in Fleet Street London and do not print regional editions. When the Editor instructs articles to be removed or changed significantly, the entire newspaper is reprinted and distributed across the UK, however if required changes occur late in the afternoon, it is not logistically feasible to distribute these newspapers national wide and subsequently the reprinted newspaper is only distributed from Fleet Street to the local London boroughs and the newspaper is sub-headed 'The Late London Edition' however, the articles within the newspapers are national/worldwide news items and I would like to assure you, your received newspaper is a national newspaper.
