“This is an excellent gift for people born in the UK but now living overseas. I was given a copy of the paper published the day I was born on my 70th birthday and I have now done the same for my sister. A wonderful unique gift.”

Sorry to hear that you aren't happy with your original 1944 Daily Mail newspaper, I can assure you that this newspaper is a full complete newspaper printed on that day. Due to the 2nd World War newsprint paper was strictly rationed up 1952 and therefore they were very limited on the pages they had available to print on which varied from day to day, sometimes as low as 4 pages in some case.

“The paper arrived very fast but it is a birthday present and it came in a nice sealed envelope I have not opened it my wife birthday is next weekend I cannot see a problem as we bought off bygone news before”

“I bought the newspaper for my dad's 70 birthday, he was absolutely thrilled with it. I loved the fact it smelt just like an old paper should, it was made so much better too that on that day in question there were articles on a British war ship which my dad also has a love for. Initially I thought the paper was expensive however I now see it as money well spent and worth every penny. Thank you.”
