Got half my order they put a pair of trousers up on the website that weren't actually in stock without mentioning on there that they where but the handled it very well and where very polite great customer service in my opinion

Order and delivery process all good. However the product looks like it’s not quite in perfect condition - some light damage to handle head - hence 3 out 5.

Order was dispatched quickly and was as described, no issue with Buxtons. However their use of DPD as a courier would make me think twice about using them again. Paid almost £10 for express delivery, which arrived a day later than stated. On day 1 the driver claimed they attempted delivery and that I wasn't in when no attempt was made. On day 2 the parcel was delivered to not only the wrong house 2 minutes walk up the street, but just left on their doorstep. All in all not a hugely positive experience which let down Buxtons otherwise good service.

When shopping online: 1. It wasn't immediately obvious that there was an extra shipping charge for large items. Indeed, it advertised free shipping for orders over £90, which turned out not to be the case. 2. Other goods were advertised for next-day delivery, but again larger items not so much - took longer...

Firstly, I'd like to apologise that our delivery didn't meet your expectations. We're proud to offer fast carriage to all our customers. In your case, you opted for a 2-3 working day Royal Mail service. We state estimated shipping times for all our services on the checkout, so our customers can make an informed decision. In future if you're in a hurry for your items, I recommend one of our next day services, which we're proud to offer for free on orders over £90 incl. VAT.

Ordering on the page is a simple enough process, confirmation sent through quickly, and delivery of items expedient. Sadly one of the items sent was a completely different colour to the one advertised (Jerry can universal spout) but also leaked rather badly rendering it pointless, so only a partly successful purchase.

Well I’m still waiting on half the payment back that I sent my returns to exchange for another size Cost me £12 to send them back to you Wasn’t happy Could have gone to another site that offered free returns

Craig, I'm disappointed you weren't happy with our service. We do everything we can to ensure our customers get the right size for the first time. We've invested a huge amount of time into creating accurate size guides with full measurements where possible. We're unable to offer free returns, to allow us to keep our prices competitive, & invest so much time into some of the most accurate sizing information in the industry. As a goodwill gesture we agreed to refund £6 of your carriage, and send out your replacements on the fastest service we could, at further cost to us. I hope you better understand our situation, and I maybe reconsider your review. If you have any further questions, please get back in touch with us.

Delivery policy is misleading I ordered extra items to get free delivery and didn't missed it by a few pounds would of ordered more if it was a bit clearer

Website is very slow! I ended up ordering some items from other suppliers in the end which was a shame. Also basket contents vanishes sometimes. Is there a way of saving the basket for later? Items are showing in stock online but on several occasions items have not been able to be sent. Could do with live stock levels, important when you require kit the next day. Missing some key items of kit that could be stocked and range could be more varied. On the recent order items delivered were different to the packing order and what was originally ordered as well. The issue was sorted out quickly and efficiently which was great! Always like to support Buxtons and will be using them again for sure.
