“Very professional service. My lawnmower was ready for me to collect at the time agreed. Not so good from a Covid point of view. Hand sanitiser available at entrance but no member of staff wearing masks.”

Thank you, Garry, for this 5-star review. We put customer experience and satisfaction as our priority, and your review reaffirms the hard work we put in every day. As for our Covid-19 response, we've put a lot of effort into protecting both our customers and staff, making sure everyone is safe but also comfortable. To achieve this we supply hand sanitiser at both the entrance and exit, face coverings for customers without one, anti-viral disinfectant for use on machines coming in and out of the building, and more often cleaning of all surfaces within the showroom. In particular response to your feedback about staff wearing masks; staff are not legally required to wear masks, however, to ensure everyone is safe we've installed plastic screens in front of all counters and ensured there's a space of 2m between customers and staff. Whenever staff come from behind the counter we're insisting they wear a face covering or sheld and follow social distancing guidance. “I opted to purchase my Stihl battery chainsaw from Buxtons partly because their price was the best I could find in Europe, but also because they clearly know their products well and were the only site that gave me sufficient technical advice to enable me to purchase the appropriate battery. Delivery charges were more than fair and the delivery to my address in Italy was spectacularly fast and efficient. Very well done all at Buxtons!”

“Website is very slow! I ended up ordering some items from other suppliers in the end which was a shame. Also basket contents vanishes sometimes. Is there a way of saving the basket for later? Items are showing in stock online but on several occasions items have not been able to be sent. Could do with live stock levels, important when you require kit the next day. Missing some key items of kit that could be stocked and range could be more varied. On the recent order items delivered were different to the packing order and what was originally ordered as well. The issue was sorted out quickly and efficiently which was great! Always like to support Buxtons and will be using them again for sure.”
