“I needed a window and door for a shed conversion to a garden office, and these were delivered exactly as per the order. However, as this was for a shed conversion, there were various technical details/dimensions I needed advice on before placing the order, so (noting the company website invites us to contact them about our projects and they will be happy to discuss) I emailed customer services with a detailed drawing and various photos of my project. After waiting a week for a reply, I sent a follow up email and managed to speak to customer services who promised to chase up the response. I still never received a response, so I relied on the the company's online drawings, took a risk and (luckily!) there were no technical issues with the delivered door and window fitting correctly and meeting my needs. I am just very disappointed in the lack of response and supposedly zero interest in discussing technical things before showing commitment by placing an order.”

“I ordered a new composite door from modern upvc windows and had to send it back 3 times due to handling damage from there delivery driver. I reported this damage to the company and each time they agreed to put right the damage and it was returned. I asked for a refund as I knew that after 6 trips up and down the motorway in the delivery van there would be lots of minor damage which would not be easy to see until the protective tape had been removed. They refused to refund me so I was forced to accept the door as it was 8 months after I had originally ordered it. Once the door was fitted and the protective tape removed lots of minor small cosmetic damaged areas where chips and scuffs were apparent which greatly affects the appearance of the door. I complained to the company and they sent me a paint stick to paint over the damage without any sort of reply or apology. I am very disappointed with the door and with modern upvc windows for treating me as there customer so badly. If you are looking for a windows or doors I would suggest looking elsewhere”

“Ordered a window which arrived in poor condition. Could be a driver fault but two seals had rips in them and a few nicks out the window frame. Lots of scuffs and scratches most of which I managed to get out with a solvent cleaner . But the tears in the seal mean it will probably leak at some point both of which are on the outer ones . Had to fit the window as I didn't realize until installation. Gutted”

“Purchased two doors, one triple-glazing one double glazing with fitting kits. Firstly no instructions whatsoever. No marking as to which side of the glass is for inside and which is for outside. On the fitting kits (only one box for two doors) there were less than 15 packers in total which weren't enough for one door let alone for two. The plastic covers for hinges are very loose and every time the door is closed the cover falls. Overall quite poor service.”

“Two windows ordered, one with an opening one without. The window with an opening delivered with three different width measurements - bottom 1145mm middle 1140mm & top 1145mm & window drain covers missing. Pair of French Doors ordered - delivered with wrong glazing beads & the Rosewood finish with noticeable transit damage on one door pillar and white showing on welded sections. Door locks not fitted as ordered - no thumturn just keys. Refund of difference in cost was prompt. Missing items were sent immediately and well protected. Shame because the ordered items are solid and well constructed & fitted as required (after some trimming of the window width & on receipt of correct French Door glazing beading) - hasn't prevented me from ordering a further window and door. Hopefully delivery will occur undamaged.”

“The website is good for anyone who want to beat waiting time of your local window suppliers installation. The only reason I used this site was because most local business had 4-6 weeks lead time for installation. So my builder said he will do installation if I can get windows. Let me tell you the quality of profile is not good, its not easy to fit glass in because beads have no flexibility. Its better off wait and get windows supplied and installed by another company.”

Dear Anish, Thank you for your feedback and review. I apologise if you have had issues with the glazing beads but this is simply due to your very small glass apertures. The smaller the glazing bead the less flex it will have but we would have been more than happy to offer any advice at the time of installation. “Windows came wrong size, apparently it was my fault, so they promised me to give a discount on the next order ,I had to wait a week for the discount ,so that delayed my job and the discount was £100 more then online quote. Thank you very much ,never again.”
