I ordered a 3m sliding door from this website and I’m appalled at how this can be passed off to be fitted into a house . The noise that comes threw this window is outrageous. It’s like been sat outside . Not only that but the draft and amount of cold that come threw is shocking, you can literally feel the draft on your legs , the handles to open the door doesn’t fit properly and is all loose. I just can’t for the life of me understand how they’re able to sell these doors the energy efficiency is outrageous , I’ve tried to complain but been ignored. I wouldn’t buy anything g from this company ever again.

I have checked the communication between you and our Customer Services team between 12-14 November regarding this issue and I am pleased to see that you have been promptly responded to each time. Our last email to you on 14/11 outlaid advice from our Technical department. I can see that we are now awaiting a further video from you showing the acoustic issue more clearly, however this has not been sent to us yet. Of course, once received we will continue to look into this for you however from our perspective, this is still in the investigation stage and we are awaiting a video from you, which you indicated you were sending in your last email to us. I am sorry that you feel so negatively about this experience however at no time have you been ignored, nor have we indicated that we will not assist. It is a shame that you have left this review before affording us the opportunity to have a complete overview of the issue. Please send the video recording (with audio), and we can then look at sending an engineer to site to inspect the door if necessary. As this is a supply only product, we would need to ascertain if there is a potential manufacturing issue or possible installation issue, which cannot be out ruled as this is not a complaint we have received before. I ordered a front double door I did not fit it until about 4 months later and found the doors were misaligned and by adjusting the hinges to the max they were out of alignment with each other by half an inch I got in touch with this fir m by email they said they had no record of this transaction would not use them again

Totally disappointed! Last September had guttering renewed. However one downpipe was not replaced as quoted for so returned to do this. Within a few days another downpipe fell apart. Had to temporily fix it ourselves - still haven't returned to fix it properly despite many calls and promises. Also fascia board was not replaced as paid for. This has, however, recently been corrected. Sorry, won't be using this firm again!

I had a poor experience ordering with the company the first time, lots of issues which were resolved but time delaying. The second time I tried to order there was no loyalty and expensive. Can’t recommend.

The follow up and Customer service is very poor, I've been going back and forth with their team (Tom) and apart from false promises on either getting it sorted or the correct items being send out; some three weeks later I'm no nearer to completion. The sad thing about this is my original order and the assistance of their team was good, but on receiving some incorrect cill profiles i cant complete the project. To be waiting on three week or excuse after excuse is not acceptable and not knowing what is happening is so frustrating.

Terrible service. Avoid at all costs if you want a decent service! Ordered 3 windows, they delivered all 3 windows with no beads whatsoever. They posted the beads to me a week later all packaged up in one bundle with no markings to show which bead went where in which window. Some of the beads were too short in length, some of the beads were missing altogether. Modern UPVC windows now want me to measure the windows and tell them what length the beads should be. What a joke of a company. The windows were delivered in February, and they are saying they cant send anyone out to measure the beads until April!! On two of the windows, the sashes are next to each other so the handles are right next to each other when closed, it is very clear that the handles do not align. Once again, they have offered me no help, other than to say someone will come and have a look in April!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

To provide some context, our stock of triple glazed bead was delayed arriving to us and the operational decision was made to not delay your entire order for this so as not to disrupt your installation. I understand that when you did receive your bead, via courier that it was mis-sized and incomplete which we fully acknowledge is unacceptable and an issue that has been raised with the factory and a subject of discussion during our Quality Control meeting. I can assure you though that we do take these complaints seriously and I am happy to say that they are infrequent. Our Customer Services Supervisor, Jake did telephone you last week to discuss these issues which I hope reflects our commitment to resolving things for you; customer satisfaction is of paramount importance to us. Our technician will be with you tomorrow to measure accurately for all your bead lengths and re-align your handles, and of course we are here to discuss anything further if required. Used them before for windows, everything was perfect, delivered on time, decent quality, one of 4 windows was cracked but was replaced sharpish. Ordered 3 composite doors, was given delivery date on 16th November. Rung the 4 times!!! all 4 times was told they will double check and ring me back, obviously no one ever did!!! 22th already and no one can tell me what's happening... Losing my temper... will be official complaint... potential money back request!!! very annoyed! I cant find how to reply to my own review, so I would have to edit it... We have been actively chasing this with our supplier who were slow to respond and we have issued our own complaint with them. We do fully understand that your order was through us though and it is regretful that this supplier issue has impacted our customer. I am pleased to see that you now have a revised delivery date for your doors. As you have spotted, I was given new delivery date, without any apologies, explanations or excuses... And the date was yesterday!!!! Try to guess... nothing was delivered, no one contacted me or told me anything... It is already second time I had to take a day off to wait and pray for delivery, losing substantial amount of money!!! Same with fitters, who had to reschedule twice and now doors wont be installed before Christmas!!! Absolutely useless customer service!!! No care about the client!!! I wish you to have the same Marry and very cold Christmas!!!!

I supposed to received this windows 31.8 but 30.8 i got phone call you have small issues with windows. I got yesterday 6.9 windows unfortunately I didn't test when your driver been here. today I tried to open the windows but 2 of 3 are stuck. I called morning 7.9 your office and I been told : windows get stretch after fitting?!?!?!?!?!?!? I have sent you video on Facebook - messenger. Now I understand the small issues. but is quit big problem when the windows not working properly. Modern Windows: Thank you for your email, I can confirm that this has been looked at by multiple members of technical who have advised that an adjustment on the hinges will rectify this during fitting. We can certainly arrange a site visit on this for you, however if this does prove to just be an adjustment issue then this visit would be chargeable. The company is NOT shy ask money for repair. I involved legal help. Maybe director of company sees how accuracy and precision make the windows.

Good Morning Roman, Thank you for leaving your review. I am honestly unsure what you mean by windows 'stretching' and feel you may have misinterpreted some telephone advice. All frames will require glazing and adjustments as part of the installation process, neither of which you have done at this point. I can see that we have offered you a site visit to rectify your issue free of charge however, if the issues are down to any fitting errors then this would of course be chargeable. This is standard practice, to ensure that all customers are following the correct fitting advice and related adjustments initially. Further to this offer, I can see that we are now collecting the window from you soon to inspect on site within our factory. I can only apologise if we do find genuine errors with the manufacture of your window, but I am satisfied that we have given your problem the attention warranted and will continue to work with you until everything is resolved. Ordered a new bathroom window from these quality is good but the profile of the window is only 55mm that’s including the window bead 30mm without the bead. Once plasterboarded and tiled this then meant the bead had to be siliconed in and it looks naff. No where stated that they were a slim profile window can only be to cut cost as they are usually 65mm thick. Will not use in future. Also the blue protective stickers have stained the frame.

Good Morning Damien, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review; I am sorry to hear that your windows were not as expected. We do make it very clear on our website with details of the profile type that we use (Deceuninck Heritage 2800) and whilst we include as much information as possible, the responsibility lies with the customer to research and ensure that the profile meets their requirements. We are available during all normal working hours by both telephone and email where we would have been happy to confirm any measurements with you. Dimensions are purposefully not included on our website to avoid misinterpretation. There is also no 'standard' outer frame measurement, as every profile may differ and ours should not be compared with any other. A slimmer outer frame is by no means a cost cutting exercise, but representative of what the vast majority of our customers would prefer. I am afraid that an incorrect assumption about our product has been made. The residue marks on the frame left by the protective tape can easily be removed with a UPVC solvent cleaner, and this is a normal finishing part of any installation usually carried out by your fitter. If these marks cannot be removed, please forward images onto us so we can investigate. Kind Regards Modern UPVC Windows.

After a great start all of the equipment turned up as expected, however we were three glass panels short and since this date I have had to chase up for delivery on a number of occasions, and now I find out that the glass was delivered to the Factory but I have to wait a week for delivery as they only deliver in my area on a Tuesday. It made me feel that it was my problem not the supplier and to be told that I should not of fitted the frames until all of the product was delivered is just not acceptable how long do you expect me to delay my building extension. Good Morning Ray, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback - I am sincerely sorry to hear that you have received a disjointed delivery service. I have looked into this and unfortunately your glass units were delayed to us from our glaziers and could not be included with your main delivery. The decision was made to not hold back your entire order. Once we received them, one was broken and the earliest we can route a van to your area is 13/09. This is partly due to the time needed to re-manufacture toughened glass and also we are bound by legal driving hours to keep our drivers safe. I fully appreciate that this is disappointing for you, and whilst we would never accept these circumstances as expected, we must deal with them as best as we can when they arise. Received frame, quality was poor the handle , the bolt system ,and receiving latches were all loose needed to tightened, the bottom of the frame was not level and when i offered the glass up to the frame it cracked in the corner for about 5 inches when we contacted their service department they did not want to know I am very disappointed, I have provided pictures once to now avail SO BUYER BEWARE

I can see that you reported your cracked glass to us on 26th August, to which we responded on the same day. As the crack was reported 10 days after your delivery, and post fitting we cannot offer a free of charge replacement, as per our clear terms and conditions. I am pleased to see that our Customer Services dept. did offer to help towards the cost of a new unit though. Very easy to order but that is only one good thing about this company...... The delivery took around 4 weeks which was not a problem for me. The windows have been delivered with many defects such as scratched glass panes, a faulty opening mechanism, the sashes on the corners were sharp/uneven and the seal damaged. Contacting the company was very frustrating as they asked the same questions a few times. It looks like people who work over there don't know what's going on. Not all faulty items have been collected and I have been asked what has been collected and what I have etc. I managed to get replacements after another few weeks which have been delivered in worse condition than the original ones ( worse visual defects... scratched glass panes, also the glass panes were smaller than original ones.....). So my 30 years old windows looked better than these new ones. By the company's terms and conditions, they can send you goods with cosmetics defects "We will not accept a return of any goods for minor blemishes and cosmetic defects.” I have paid for new windows which should be delivered without any defects. I have been offered more replacements and an engineering visit however I was unable to wait another few weeks. Please remember that you have to give a seller at least one chance to rectify any problems and later under customer rights (Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods you supply must be of satisfactory quality.) you can ask for a refund. It was very difficult to return my order but thanks to Citizens Advice and bank credit card protection I managed to do it. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

The delivery driver faked a delivery. Then the unit turned up broken. Next they missed the delivery date for the new unit. Totally unprofessional. You know you are dealing with a scam business when they don't have a phone number on thier Web site. Take your money but make it impossible to complain.

100£ for delivery and the driver delivered to what I can only assume was a fake address. A signed document was sent to me as proof of delivery. I manged to phone the driver and when he arrived after his fake delivery the glass was broken. I wasn't sure what to do but the driver said it was fit the window and they will send out replacement glass. He said he would report the break. I agreed. So far despite using the online form for a call back -they have no phone number, I have heard nothing.

MW38414, I bought French doors with side windows with Thumb turn locks came with key locks so I never bothered complaining and just fitted the doors, I paid extra for triple glazing as I live in a coastal property when we had bad wind recently the top and the bottom of the master door was coming away from the frame I did not realise until this happened that they had not put shooting bolts top and bottom of the Master door even though they’ve put the holes/keeps to take them and Was told that they put them in on their site when ordering, so when I emailed them explaining what they’re done, 3 days later their reply was they didn’t think they need them because they wasn’t that tall when I explained that the wind pushes the top corners out and the rain comes in along with some photos they just ignored me I’ve emailed them several times with no reply, so I am left wondering why they give a guarantee will not be using this company again, because they don’t give you an option in days and I’ll quickly they reply I have put over a week.

Very disapointed, I have orderd 4 windows, I have realised that one glass os bigger and I had to wait a week for the right one and they haven't even colect the wrong one. Bad workmanship poor finishes @ joints. On the fourth window I have big gaps around corners as beads have been cut shorter. I have sent them pictures and mesage but they would not reply. Bad customer srvice.
