“We are doing our very first self-build extension and I was feeling a little apprehensive about buying the windows. “Have purchased many windows from Modern, mainly the flush windows which look stunning and all who see them cannot believe they are upvc. We choose Modern also for the site builder that allows you to build and modify your window and see exactly how the window will look with those changes including glass patterns and leading styles. Top quality right down to small things like hinge mechanisms, yale locking etc. Will continue to buy in the future.”

“After having a couple of salespeople around to our house from other companies I was starting to lose the will to live, as they were incredibly expensive and wouldn't leave my house! Modern UPVC was exactly what I was looking for. It was very easy to look at their range online and place an order, with excellent prices that were half of everyone else's, and lead times were 2-4 weeks instead of 6-8 elsewhere!”

“I replaced two small (bathroom and toilet) windows that had a block partition with a single window from modern upvc windows. Website was clear and easy to order from, with helpful advice to ensure you order correctly. Lots of choices although I went for the standard, double glazed privacy glass with white frame and chrome handles. Manufacture and delivery was prompt and I was kept informed. The windows themselves are great quality. The frames felt rock solid. Reassuringly heavy and sturdy. Glass looks great and the privacy finish is perfect. Fitting process was simple, just ensure you have a rubber mallet to hand for the gleaming beads. I was being far too soft for the first 5 mins. Your mileage may very but for me starting at one edge and tapping with the mallet made that process a breeze. I also ordered one child restrictor for the larger opening windows. As crazy as it sounds this is the part I had most confusion with fitting! Just took a bit of holding in place/visually aligning before screwing in. Works great. Trickle vents simple to install and look neat. As it’s winter it feels significantly colder when their open, which suggests they are doing their job when open and sufficiently stopping air flow when closed. Just ordered another window. It will couple to an existing UPVC back door, and part of the reason I chose modern upvc windows again is because the previous one was so solid/quality feeling. Gave me confidence that it would fit well and tie easily to the existing door.”

“We are purchasing a Korniche roof lantern and Modern UPVC Windows offer an excellent single source of information to a potential customer compared to lots of other retailers. Sizes are customisable to the mm and all trim and glass combinations are available. They provide comprehensive information from the manufacturer to ensure you specify and select the correct product. Purchase process appears to be straightforward but did appear to have a technical glitch first time around which has been reported. Order placed at time of review, waiting for the sales process to complete and product delivery.”
