“Overall, if you could avoid using BUNAC, I would. I thought BUNAC was generally a fine platform, but the website was incredibly buggy and confusing. When uploading documents, what was actually required was incredibly unclear. I uploaded all documents that BUNAC requested on their “documents” tab, but still received emails telling me that I had missing information. The emails included few instructions for how to complete the task. Any instructions that were given would instruct me to view pages that I could not find or upload documents to places on the website that did not exist. If you tried replying to any emails, no response was given. The application status bar could have been helpful if it actually worked. After completing the application and uploaded required documents, my application would show that I had incomplete documents or tasks. When completing my required entry forms, again I found the website glitchy, saying that there were still things I needed to complete. Even after completing my internship, my portal on the website still says that I have only 87% of my application complete and that I have documents that I need to upload. This made it incredibly frustrating to know what I needed to do to continue. Because of all these issues, I had to reach out to support often. There was no information on the portal for how to contact support, I had to find these details in the emails from BUNAC. The support team was incredibly helpful, but it shouldn’t have taken this much. I independently organized an internship placement so I did not use BUNAC for that. I found the price for using BUNAC was incredibly steep, $800 for their services alone, not including paying for the actual visa. I had no choice but to use this service as it was what my organization used for visa applications. The only advantages of BUNAC were that they had internships you could apply for on their website if you needed to, that they (sort of) highlighted what documentation you would need for a visa, and that they had helpful support staff. I’m sure there is a lot that BUNAC does outside of what I see to ensure that I get my visa, but I can only speak from my experience. BUNAC is definitely an okay option for applying for a visa, but it comes with irritation and confusion. After many emails to support, everything turned out fine in the end. If you can, I would avoid using BUNAC for your visa application.”

“The procedure for obtaining my visa was quick, simple and structured. I was accompanied by BUNAC. Even during my assignment, BUNAC checked to make sure that everything was going well for me. They are very attentive. I'd like to thank Kira Watson specifically for her help and for listening to me!”

“Currently in the process of getting my working holiday visa sorted for Australia. Going with the kickstart program with Bunac. Wanted to drop a shout-out and say a big thank you to Ed Sayers, who has been a delight to talk to, whilst looking at the best options with packages for my move to Australia and kept in touch throughout. BUNAC walked me through every step of camp and visa application and made a what would otherwise be stressful and confusing process run extremely smoothly. “I used BUNAC for applying for summercamp and they were amazing! The price compared to another companies was great. The process was so easy, I was told exactly what I needed for my application. Niall and Olivia were so extremely helpful and answered any questions I had. I would definitely recommend BUNAC for applying for summer camp. Thanks a bunch!!!”

“BUNAC has been absolutely amazing!! I am currently on the summer camp exchange USA programme and its the best experience i have ever had. BUNAC has been extremely supportive and helpful throughout the entire process from getting a place at a camp, to my visa and going to the embassy, to flights, to any general questions. Anyone who wants too or is interested in working at a summer camp in America or any kind of work abroad go with BUNAC!!! i will use them for all of my work travel plans in the future. Cannot recommend BUNAC enough!!! And a huge thankyou to BUNAC for enabling me to have this experience!”

“Firstly I found that the information wasn't hugely forthcoming both prior to and after paying. Secondly after finding the list of potential job in America once paying I decided that none were right for me. I had been told that the Bunac deposit was refundable. Bunac told me that this was not the case. I was told that I had access for life, which I said I didn't specifically need. I understand that companies have their own policies but I might have expected a little flexibility given I had been explicitly told that the deposit was refundable.”

We have a wide range of jobs across different cities in the US and they all fall into the casual job category to meet the visa and programme requirements. We understand your frustration. As per the Terms and Conditions on our website, the deposit is non-refundable however you do have the option to move your application to next year or to switch to another BUNAC programme.
