“From start to finish we had a good working relationship with Alex. We wanted to buy a property and he was professional throughout the process. “Dealth with Robert and Charles - they were both fantastic. From start to finish they were extremely helpful and informative. Had issues with the soliciotr we were using, they liased with our buyers and manage to sort all the problems we were having. They are very professional and I would not hesitate to reccommend them.”

“I will never use a traditional local estate agent again! I struggled selling my house and I used a few estate agents who all promised the earth, but delivered nothing but awful service. I was dubious when I received a letter from British Homebuyers, but listened to their options and decided to give them a chance. They were always available, gave honest opinions, but most importantly sold my house. I liked being able to show people around my house (not everyone’s cup of tea) however I felt that I sold the features better than an estate agent trying to sell numerous houses. In addition, the reassurance of a deposit from the buyers once an offer had been agreed provided extra reassurance as I had previously had buyers pull out further down the line with me incurring all the fees. A special thank you to Alex Clendon for looking after me throughout the journey and I would have no hesitation in recommending British Homesellers in the future.”

“My initial contact with the company was good, but I had some questions and was promised a follow-up which didn't happen. 2 or 3 days later, I sent an email asking for further information. Later that day, my phone rang once and then stopped. This was followed by a text saying that they "tried to contact me but were unsuccessful" - the phone literally rang once and stopped. I called straight back but not answer. I tried to text but no answer. I called the office but no answer. think I'll leave it for now as it feels like they don't want to sell my home, but rather than say not interested they're just avoiding me”

“We had our home on the market for over 6 months with two different local agents with no joy and were eventually told that we'd have to reduce the price by over £35k (15%) to sell it. We weren’t prepared to do that so decided to take it off the market at the end of the term with the agents as it clearly just wasn't our time. Then our dream home became available and decided to give it one more push - we opted for British Home Sellers as we needed a quick sale and preferably cash buyers. It took about 10 weeks but they found us the perfect buyers for our home at a selling price we were happy with. We wish we’d gone to them sooner!! Their fees on sale & completion were higher than the local agents, but lower fees are meaningless if they can't find us a genuine buyer. We were certainly better off with the higher fees and a good price for the house rather than having to knock 15% off just to get some interest from the local agents! The customer care from British Home Sellers was also excellent, which couldn't be said for the local agents by comparison. I sound very ‘anti’ our local agents but I would always try and keep business local where possible, hence trying two of them first. The simple fact is that BHS were far more pro-active and up to the job. We had Robert Love as our point of contact and we were very impressed with his professionalism, pro-active approach and the fact that every phone call, email and query was picked up and responded to immediately. Alex also stepped in for a couple of days when Robert was off and his communication was equally prompt, courteous and professional. Something that sadly seems to be lacking in many companies. Considering that BHS are an online business I certainly didn't feel they were 'faceless' at all and would highly recommend them. Although I feel we now have our forever home, if we WERE to ever consider moving again I wouldn't hesitate to use them.”

'Simply the Best' Having struggled with a local agent to sell my house for over 12 months I turned to British Homebuyers and within 2 months (including the Xmas period) I had two positive fully vetted viewers and within days had a firm acceptable offer. From the off I felt I had a team of people on my side, initially Eloise Hopgrave and Alex Clendon and in later stages Kay-Flower of Premier Lawyers and British Homebuyers associate Charles Gale. “Hooray. British Home Buyers was the right choice to make who helped us sell our house and also not only that but supported us in our purchase. Of course, it is always better to be clear about Fees and charges and durations at the beginning of every process which we discussed before hand and the signing up process, the communication throughout the process was very clear, easy and flexible for us. A horrible stressing experience is what we got with our PREVIOUS high street AGENT for 1 year and we had very few viewings and little effort demonstrated. We turned to BHB who within 4 to 6 weeks of going on the market we were quiet to start off but then immediately interest picked up and only needed 2 or 3 people and viewings to get an offer we were happy with a committed buyer. Clearly BHB had demonstrated dedicated their time and effort. Alex and charles have been brilliant from the get go. Both polite patient clear transparent friendly and helpful of every step of the way. Little change and i was kept up to date, and any questions were answered thus they did well. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone to sell their home. The buyers solicitors had begun delaying and spoiling the experience but with a little pressure from Alex and all our collective approach we got things complete before it got stressful.”

“Went above and beyond Having used a local estate agents and had a very poor experience sadly. I decided to use a national company. From the start the contact I had was positive. Initially Sabrina helped get the process started. Which was seamless. Following this Robert was my estate agent. Robert was professional and friendly. I was most impressed when it came to whether to reduce the asking price. Robert to my surprise suggested to wait a little longer before doing this. When we got a buyer the process pressure free from Robert. Which I was very impressed and grateful for. As it came to the end of the process Charles from aftercare was absolutely brilliant and without him I don't think the sell would have gone through. Given the etc complexity. I am very grateful to both Robert and Charles for getting the sale through and dealing with extra issues so well. I would highly recommend using British Homebuyers.”
