“Bin arrived on time and it’s great. Quality is good for the cost. Just trialing using a wheelie bin but so far impressed and if I decide to go for the larger one will Order from same company.”

“I purchased a bin for work and when it was delivered, I was told that it cannot he returned. This is a confidential bin that is lockable (I never asked for a customised bin). Bear in mind that all confidential bins are lockable in the first place. British Bin insisted that it was customised and that it cannot be returned. They will take it back however the only amount they can return is £20 (but they’re taking the bin that I bought). The £20 isn’t even half of the £75 that I paid for it. They were very interested that I will purchase another bin, take my money again and the rest of the £75 that I paid for. The man who I spoke to was harsh when I told him that I’m not happy with his return procedure. We will never purchase from BritishBins again.”

Hi Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We welcome all reviews and publish both good .....not so good online for everyone to see. I'm sorry that you believe the service you received was not of the high standards that we try and hold ourselves too. I would say that it is standard practice in our industry, and carried out by all companies selling similar related products, that if you change your mind regarding a product and wish to have it collected then we charge customers a return fee. As you can appreciate a lot of the items we sell due to the size are delivered on a pallet at considerable cost. To deliver and then collect means the company would be at a loss. If items are faulty then it goes without saying this would be collected without any charges at all. This is all stated in our T's & C's which i appreciate is not the first thing you read when buying something but it is a good idea if you are unsure about the item, i.e size , colour, etc We will look into your comments and see if we can learn from the experience and improve our service. “Have ordered from British bins before do had no hesitation in reordering. As expected very quick delivery. Bins as advertised and stickers were just perfect. You won't go wrong ordering from this company. Very pleased with product and price.”

Hi Thanks very much for your positive review - we try to find a balance between really good quality and a fair price. Our wheelie bins are super strong and superior to the cheaper flimsier imports that need extra metal supports inserted into the plastic to make them more durable. They still won't last as long ! “I called 2 weeks previous to the order to enquire about 2nds and the guy was very helpful and polite, unfortunately did not have the size I needed. So I ordered a new bin online and it arrived promptly. No damage, No dramas. Seems well made. Good job British Bins”

Hi Steve, Sorry to hear about the issues you're having. This is one of Hailos best sellers for well over 20 years so were surprised to hear this. “Whilst I was pleased with the quality of the two bins, given the price I did not expect to have to assemble the axle and wheels myself! This was not pointed out when i ordered the goods and being A 70year old woman undergoing chemotherapy find it totally,unacceptable.”
