I have had two books, written within a year of each other both go to No. 1 in genre at Amazon Though they were selling well, it was only after the social media push from Books Go Social that sales really spiked. Everyone was so very responsive to concerns or questions and the quality of the work and the professionalism of the platform made it very much worth the money spent. Thanks! Author LB Johnson

Summer can be a difficult time and not all our books sell I understand that and also depend on the genre. I see a lot of retweet and the Facebook group are supportive trying to get other reader to review your book. I felt this company membership is all about you promoting your self after the tweets no more hello and everyone join the Facebook group hoping and praying. Not one sales or reviews. I have been showing up on Facebook group page mostly because of the author. Contest to give away kindle fire and book cover really some people need I guess. My other book I decided not to let BGS PROMOTE for a year the tweets and promoting should not stop and as a newcomer the money is not there. Toss up to another bad lucky break.

Patrice, this is being emailed to you to ask you to request a refund. My email is lob@yourasms.com. We do our best, but some books don't sell. This is a genuine offer to refund you, fast, no further questions asked.

Even though this system was not the best way for me to advertise, they were true to their word and refunded the money I spent for my program. They were polite, and worked with me quite easily to make certain my company did not lose any money simply because our styles did not mesh perfectly. Thank you for your time and easy assistance.

Tiffany, if you don't think you got good value, I must ask you to request a refund. We do not want a single dissatisfied customer. My email address is: lob@yourasms.com. We work 7 days a week, 365 days a year, promoting all our authors. Sometimes the public won't buy. We do work hard to get all the links right and if we did get any wrong I apologize. Your refund will be processed inside 24hrs.

I hate to say I am not thrilled with the service. The most beneficial thing I got from my membership was how to mount my own promotions. I found that what I did on my own after the initial BGS tweets was a lot more effective. Even when my book was short listed as an Indie Book of the year I saw no increase in sales. Everyone at BGS is very nice and I have no complaints with them. I'm just glad I never signed up for a bigger campaign. I'm promoting my second book myself and have seen more interest this way.

Books Go Social is a fabulous marketing program and my main way to promote my book right now. Not only have I seen around 1500 hits on my amazon page each week, I am seeing, most importantly, book sales!

BGS posted a ton of tweets, but I saw no sales, so they refunded my payment. I did not even know that was a possibility! I would mark that as some excellent customer service. What do you have to lose...give them a shot.

Laura, please use our guaranteed refund to get your money back. We don't work for all books. A romance writer is our one of our biggest sellers. So it's not about genre. We get people to look at your book, but we cannot force people to buy it, but we do keep our word and refund authors if it didn't work out. To help my email address is: lob@yourasms.com and we refund fast too, in 24hrs.

Very effective and well organised service. I was recommended BGS initially but didn't realise the extent of the 'social'. There is a community spirit among the other authors and even on Facebook I find myself on their page as opposed to my own newsfeed. Engaging with other authors and readers is the key to making it work. I would certainly continue to use the service and recommend to others.

I bought the smallest package because I wasn't ready to commit to anything else. I was skeptical. But ever since my promotion with Books Go Social began my ranking on Amazon has improved, which means more people are buying my book while the promotion is on. Have to think it's related. I'm pleased with the results and will promote the next book in my series with them as well.

Let me first say that I'm a marketing and public relations professional by trade, so I often have a different insight than many when I make purchases like this because I know how this stuff should look. I bought this service because they did a great job of marketing their service. Not so much for my book. For instance, there was no real clear direction about how the tweets would be delivered. I added my own hashtags to the tweets after noticing that they don't usually use them for the tweets they share for other authors. The hashtag is a VIRAL part of any marketing effort because it expands your reach tremendously. I don't think any author should have to ask for hashtags to be used for a service that touts itself as being well versed in all things related to book marketing. I didn't sell any books during the period, but I'm still a brand new author, so I'm not too miffed about that. I AM, however, very disappointed tgat I've received very little followup since the tweet period ended even though it was marketed as if I'd receive routine emails from them offering other opportunities for promoting my book for a year. I even asked why I hadn't received the newsletter that they say that they mail and I was told I had to sign up…but, why wouldn't I have been automatically added when I bought the service. Why should I have had to click some link to add my name to an email list? I'm beginning to think maybe I don't need to write another book. Just start a book "marketing" service and shake authors down for their hard earned money under the guise of genuinely wanting to help them sell books. I hope that I'll begin to receive more followup from this group, but I'm not holding my breath. My book is Deferred Consumption by Shana James.

Shana, I would like you to accept a refund. You signed up 21st June and you received emails on the 21st & a week later on our new member follow up system. These included a welcome message & instructions in text, video and an attached guide. We also emailed you again on 5th July & 5th August with our regular monthly updates to keep all members on track. I have your reply from you 6th July. I would also note that your book was only available on Smashwords, which limits sales. We don't use #tags for all authors as we are aware of the danger of dominating a #tag stream if too many of our authors use #thriller for instance. Where an author requests it we include it. I would like you to accept a full refund, please, We do our best for all authors. I have been promoting authors on social media online for 5 years. We are not perfect, but we do our best for all our authors. This is not a short term program. It's 12 months of advice and free extras. Our promotion work now ends up free. Not a bad deal, I hope. Best wishes for all you do.

Books Go Social is strong in author support. Some of their ideas are solids, like posting your book link for anyone who wants to review it (not swapping reviews). I'm not too keen on liking fan pages and having them like me back because authors liking other author pages doesn't really do a thing for your readership. It only makes you LOOK popular. The only thing I dislike is the volume of emails I get from FB alerting me to the volume of posts. I've tried turning them off to no avail since I commented on one of the more popular posts. I finally had to create a rule in my Outlook to shunt them to another folder.

Chaela, thanks for sticking with us. I hope you are taking advantage of our free email promotion and our Facebook Reader group. I don't get emails from Facebook about my comments or posts, so I think it's a setting in your Facebook about notifications, which you have to turn off.

Apparently my book was given adequate exposure in social media, which was the whole point of the deal with Books Go Social. I say 'apparently' because I don't know who reads those twitter messages, or if they reached the appropriate audience and market. To that extent I do not complain, because social media is a crapshoot at its best. There are no guarantees. If sales of the book are a measure of the success of the venture, it was a flop. I didn't sell a single book during the promotion, and no one in my general sphere of association ever remarked that they had seen an ad. Granted, I had to write the copy, which might be blamed for the lack of interest, but input and advice from Books Go Social as to the ad itself might have helped and would have been welcome. I am not unhappy that I entered into the agreement, but even a blind pig eventually, by sheer chance, finds an acorn. Not one single book sold? No interest at all? For a three dollar book? In a vast internet market? With all the crazies that buy anything? I have to conclude that there's something wrong. If someone, anyone, just one, bought the book and then complained that it was a horrible, rotten waste of words, I would at least know that the market works. But I don't even have that measure of success or failure. There was just no interest generated, and I don't know who to blame. Even Eskimos buy ice cubes, once in a while, just for the hell of it. I didn't sell a single book. Maybe I'll try the Eskimo market.

There's no doubt about it; BooksGoSocial is entirely professional. In what seems like less than a week after I'd ordered a video book trailer, it was produced and ready for distribution. And, the price was extremely reasonable. I got to pick out the background music, a few of the stock photos and even had a say in the text being used. Tanja was wonderful to deal with and Laurence even followed up with a personal email to me asking about my experience with BooksGoSocial. Book marketing seems to be a never-ending endeavor and I'll most certainly be back when it's time to do it all over again.

After a couple of emails with L O'Bryan, I decided to invest in his experience and talents. As an author, I felt surely another author would have already experienced similar challenges in marketing a first novel. I ask him which package would he invest in first; he answered and explained why. I took his advice and have been very pleased. The precise marketing tools and style of BooksGoSocial is very clever and I'm impressed. The time has been short , but my name and novel have been "put on the map" by their unique Social Media promotions. I'm anxious to get my next next sales report from my publisher. I do know this: my sales have increased and I expect this to continue as the only change I've made to my ad campaign is the addition of BooksGoSocial. Amen!! Margaret McBride, author

Although I have paid for the service, I haven't used it. The inter action with the principal was great, I was able to get some one on one with him that was helpful. I now realize that I wasn't prepared to use the services and needed to restructure my approach to social media. At this point I am concentrating on writing and editing my eleventh book, and getting them out on Amazon, Good Reads and Smashword. Once, they are set up, then I will attempt to re-engage and try to determine how to best use your services. The main thing I have learned is that writing a book is easy, selling it is the challenge, and that requires the ability to get the book out into the public's view. All that I have accomplished, beside writing eleven books, is spend a ton of money, to the benefit of others. I look forward to one day understanding the marketing side of social media, it seems to be the catch all for selling books, and I trust that your process will be helpful in the future.
